For PP: Clipper, FdL, or Python? My brain is fried

When credits are no object, you're going to go with the biggest guns, biggest cargo, and fastest speed.

Below that, and it's going to cater to your playstyle a bit because the small and medium jack of all ships aren't worth the credits.

I have seen a post about that. Also, it seems that the masslock factors cumulate if several ships are close to you...so 2 Sidewinders could disrupt FSD of a Clipper apparently, and...I don't know what to do with my Federal Dropship now... :(

6 Sidewinder, Eagle, Hauler
7 Adder, Courier, Viper
8 Type 6, Cobra, Diamondback
10 Vulture, Type 7
11 Asp
12 Clipper, Fer-De-Lance
14 Federal Dropship
15 Orca
16 Type 9
17 Python
23 Anaconda

Still wanting a source please. Anyone.

Clipper for the Win. I'm ranking up in Imperial to get one, (or at least I will as soon as the rank issues get fixed) because the FDL (my current ship) is bad for it (expensive repairs, poor jump range, you'll need to travel back n forth a lot, so you need good jump range, and the C4 hardpoint is wasted with a c3 laser - no kinetics for PP, but there's no way on this green earth that I'm selling the FDL, so I'm out of PP for a bit to rank & save for the Clipper.

The python has even worse repair bills than the FDL does, and costs much more to outfit, so it depends on spare credits. If cash is tight, Clipper for sure. (120mil for a decent combat ready python).

Funny you recommend a ship you haven't tried yet. And btw, while the Clipper only costs 21 million, a full combat fitting costs about the same as a Python with full combat fitting. You're not saving anything :p

And while the Clippers cockpit view is nice, the hard points are far enough apart, where you're best off installing one fixed and one gimbaled weapon to actually hit with both weapons.

I have a Clipper and I'll go with my Vulture over the Clipper most of the time, unless I need the jump range.
