- Significant performance improvement to the exploration servers

For those Commanders with a lot of unsold exploration scans from before the release of 1.3, we've started to upgrade the older data to make them as quick to sell as more recent scans. This is a background process, so whilst we have added more server capacity, it will likely take most of the weekend to complete.

Huzzah!!

still having to click on play, then back to main menu and then play again before clicking solo or online otherwise I fail to communicate with the adjudication server the first time around.

It looks like your cache hasn't updated - it can take up to 30 minutes, but should have updated by now if you've been connected since the update went live.

If you're up for an experiment then try the following:

Close the game and browse to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\
Then delete these files: GalacticPoliticsPowerBases.cache & GalacticPoliticsPowers.cache

Start the game and see if the cvalues have changed.

Michael

Deleting the cache files solved the issue

Edit: The Last Updated still shows as 18:40 11 JUN 3301 though

Edit2: The Total CC amount equals Income-Upkeep.

Not quite sure what this means, but faster data sales is a good thing, thanks so much fdev!

Any chance the explorers could get an update on the difference between pre and post 1.3 scan data, why the newer ones are faster, and whats happening to the old scan data over the weekend?

It means they found a more efficient way in 1.3 to record that you have scanned a given planetary body, such that the calculation of the value of the scan and the update of your credit balance when handing in the data can happen faster and thus your data sales are quicker.

The < 1.3 data is still in the old format, so they are running a process known as a 'migration' to convert it into the newer format. As is implied by the handin speedup, this conversion takes time and has to be done for each unsold scan record, so it's taking many hours to complete. You can think of the migration as performing part of the process that used to happen when you sell data in advance.

Yay! No more 'Adjudication Server Error'!

Just tried it out and got in-game without issue. Strange, how little fixes like that are very welcome. Thanks! :)

We've been handing vouchers since the update, It's still totally bugged, and the points of yesterday are not there.

We want to know if at the end the bug is fixed, Is it possible to have a clear and responsible answer for that? Since yesterday our whole player community have been asking for this issue.

can we get some work done on safe vector of suns for fuel scooping? seems like very ofton now that when i am, the line will dissapear and when i dip down where i think im safe, turns out im not, and bam! emergency exit, and a big repair bill to boot.. think this might be happening mostly when i am targeting a star and scooping at the same time.

Keep 'm comming, Frontier!
Any update/patch that brings more stability and clarity has my support! Elite: Dangerous is one of the few games that hasn't messed up my acount and stats once.

Yesterday Mr. Woods stated that is was a mistake to cancell arbitrarely the expansion of Lakluita already reached.

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=155696&page=9&p=2382883&viewfull=1#post2382883

I repeat the same question Mr. Brooke. What happens with the bug that expansion is restablished, but not the points and It seems It still bugged and we can't hand the combat vouchers?

Hello, after turn change(expansion), we reached the trigger in the first hours, then Mr. Brooks decided to withdraw the expansion Lakluita. When Mr.Adams restore us in expansion, the counter back to 0, since then OCI(Orden de Comandantes Imperiales) has been working to reach the trigger again, but the counter is not working. We would really like to fix this sooner or at least an answer about it.
Thanks,
CMDR En3ko

That is frickin awesome news. It's going to be at least another week before I get back so this will hopefully make a big difference. Do you have any estimate re: how much faster it is to sell the new data (like, are we talking twice as fast? ten times as fast??).

Thanks for the update Michael.
