We're quite excited for what will be shown !

This would be awesome, and bring in so many new gameplay opportunities. Suddenly your sensors go out as your pet rabbit chews through some cables whilst ferreting around inside the ship. Or your cat leaps on the keypad and starts sending random messages to everyone in local chat, and just as you're apologising and explaining mirthfully your pet was responsible, the delightful little furball decides to sit on the self destruct button in an effort to gain your attention.

That's the pitch. The execution however, is a portrait of your pet with stats and a progress bar that updates once a week, or so thereabouts. The random system glitches are already in ED, we call them bugs but, I'm pretty sure it was my pet weasel chewing at the wires again. :D

If it isn't anything to do with the first expansion (be it planetary landings, walking around ships, etc.), then it may not be as exciting as people think. Be prepared for a major let down ... ;)

It's gonna be something so underwhelming that the forums will blow up in outrage :D
You heard it here first.

Weren't they also excited with the 'big reveal' at the launch party? which turned out to be a single Capital Ship and the scripted 'I bring friends' combat.

Don't get your hopes up you're just setting yourselves up for a fall.

Not setting my sights high but not setting them low either. I do expect more info on E: D on XBone and a few more features to compliment it but other than that nothing really. I still wouldn't be surprised if they announced docking on capital ships or taking off from them. Would be pretty nifty as they could serve as a mobile base of operations in enemy territory if it comes to it but hey, that right there is too hopeful. Just launching and docking with capital ships or being able to carry, say, a Viper in an Anaconda, Type 9 or Python and launching in one of those might be a possibility(Isn't it just phasing, after all? Same mechanics of switching ships in station?).

Launching a ship from the Anaconda has already kind of been revealed in the Xbox trailer. It also mentions it in the ship's description. It says something like 'Sidewinder' sized ship, but the trailer shows one of the fighters:

Blink and you'll miss it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-xAdDEBOjM

They're going to announce jonnycombat mode which makes me supreme leader of the Galaxy. I'll be able blow stuff up by just looking at it, and my ships will poop credits. Oh and thargoid motherships will escort me around.

Well. I was hoping for something a little more than some xbox stuff. Can't say I'm overly surprised. Goto E3, mention something along the lines of PC Gaming and shout about Xbox stuff. Never saw that coming...

I'm going to throw my hat in for NPC crews and walking about the ship in first person.

That is a good step forward. I like this. At least walking around in your ship. The NPC crew thing and also friends flying in same ship with you. IE Someone working the turrent weapons and or other ship systems.
