Galaxy Map Clumsy!

Is it me, or is the Galaxy map now since PP slow and clumsy to plot a route now.

It's the map, however a temp workaround is to set your Galaxy map graphics to low, and turn shadow's off. This sucks I know! but it sure sped up my map.

Yeah, I like a number of things they added with 1.3, but the changes to the map are not on that list. The extra info is nice, but it just seems clunkier to me, the dots are too big.

Yeah I know what you mean about them dots, they have totally mucked them up.

The problem I have with the map is that I usually have to click up to 3 or 4 times at slightly different positions to select a star and get the info to appear. Is it just me?

Agree @ dots, seems messy.
At least the pop-up menu comes up easier when you hover over a system, before 1.3 they kept disappearing on me and I had to keep hovering over it again and again.

I think PP messing with the map.
I hate Galaxy map in Oculus its pain in the but to target anything in oculus even if the system is right front of your face grrr !!!

No, it's not just you. Sometimes exiting the gal map and going back in fixes it.

For me, I'll plot a route, and look for stars to refuel/scoop at. The problem is each stop on the route is missing the star...it's blank. If I exit the map, and go back in, they show up, so it's not a setting I have (I've played the game a lot and I'm familiar with the gal map, it didn't do this before).

I also wish that when you had it in "power play" view, and chose a star or just hovered over it, it would show the distance from where you're at to it, in addition to the distance from it to the HQ. You have to change views to see that the way it is right now.
