The 60Kylie meetup... Anyone? - Mission accomplished.

So, I'm currently about 52k Ly from Sol, on the far side of the galaxy, and was wondering if any other explorers are kind of nearby - I'll post the actual system once I'm home, but I'd like to know if anyone is interested in a meetup in a system that is 60K Ly from Sol - the more the merrier, would be cool to have a system at the far sid eof the galaxy with a whole bunch of hollow rectangles, and the gratuitous selfies pics with your fellow CMDR's, of course.

Anyone? I did get a mention of interest when I posted in a thread, but figured it would be more visible as it's own post.


I'm currently at Throsaea HL-J b56-3

- moving at about 2k-3k Ly/day, though happy to change course for a central meeting point.

I think CMDR Ulysses is out there, near (10k ly?) where you are. Also CMDR Svenno was around but he hasnt logged -or I have missed him- in the last few weeks.

Good luck though! Cool initiative!

I might be interested at some point in the future, but for now, I'm sticking relatively close to home. I'm a newbie explorer who's never made a trip that far before. I only just got my Asp and am working on upgrading it for exploring.

Yep, I'm out on the far side opposite Sol. I haven't seen Svenno for quite some time either, he was about 15Kylies from me the last time he was visible. I haven't logged in for a couple of days myself due to RL, but I'm still up for a meet.

Come on you explorers out there, let's organise a deep space Hokey Cokey for Galnet!!!!

Are you on my friends list? Can't remember...

I remember seeing Svenno too, was talking to him when I was still only 35k Ly out, and he was at 65k Ly. I'm much closer now, and making lots of headway now that I have a little spare time to play.

So, as of last night, CMDR Ulysses and I are about 11k Ly apart, so I made a left to intercept. Hopefully, we find a system worth meeting up in.

As I said, the more the merrier! Anyone nearby is welcome!

I expect that you are a long way from me, being only 35k out.

Depends how fast you fly! Pretty much flying sideways now, so won't really be moving away anymore. Not sure exactly which system, but I'll take a look at a rough area when I log in tonight.

I'm out :(

Pretty sure I would struggle to skip the arm if I took the direct route. 22ly jump range has it's drawbacks.

It looks like I'm going to struggle to get some play time in this week. I'll try to make up for it later at the weekend.

All good, I only made about 1000Ly during the week. It's a long weekend though, so I may get some extra playtime this weekend.
