how can I tell where I have been

So I saw a shipyard with a part i wanted but couldnt afford so I went and did a bit of trading then exploring and now I cant remember for the life of me where the shipyard was - am I being daft - is there a way to look where I have been - it was probably 30+ stations ago that I was there?

There are 3rd party applications which can tell you where you have been and where you can make notes for future reference.

Check out the thread listing all the 3rd party sites and apps. Some are really good.

Normally I would write down a system of interest but unfortunately I forgot
I just assumed I was missing something basic as you would have thought FD could have incorporated a log / tracker function but I guess not
