Why not a Microsoft Elite gamepad, it works for PC. But honestly I think the Steam Controller is cooler (and available for preorder)

Well the outpost-style starport at the centre of the combat area looks pretty, but I can't help think that the awful "flying through hoops" thing is nothing more than an attempt to stay ahead of Star Citizen.

Nah, Elite's combat model is one of the highlights of the game. Putting that on a pedestal, and allowing us to kill our friends without multi-million losses will be fantastic.

Currently all combat is adversarial, unpredictable, and comes with heavy risk of loss. This will be great for practicing skills and competition.

Yeah that's possible. But I consider Star Citizen as a nice standard so it does not really bother me :)
I am not saying ED as to dupplicate it or anything like that, but some of us really need more action and more PvP.

Destructible space stations cool hopefully this will apply to all stations and not just the arenas. An it look like the arenas will be fully integrated into the game, another cool and that how I wanted it from the beginning.

Whole and did I spot a space elevator in there as well, yes I did. Look like we may well get multiple stations in a instance as well.

Looks like some traditional capture the flag from the shot at the end. As an old school Elite fan, I welcome this. Look forward to it immensely.

Hopefully that just one of the type of games you can play at the arenas.
