I would also like some more details. The $5 credit email says you can you only get the credit after you link accounts, but I don't know if that hints at anything.

Hmm, that's a shame. Any plans to have cross-play with Xbox One and therefore eventually have a character that cares not about any platform?

I suspect the GPP is in a different galaxy, just like the PC betas have been run. Once it's launched the galaxy is meant to be shared IIRC.
Oh, I didn't realize GPP meant Game Preview Program....Wonder if there will be a PC beta to test cross-play like they did with Mac

They will have a onscreen keyboard for the galaxy map, which is all I ever need the keyboard for when using that gamepad setup. I'd love to see that come to the PC version. My wife is much more amenable to my play time when I'm on the couch playing instead at my desk using the joystick.

I'd request the inverse, sort of: a 2nd character that can be used on PC.
Still looking for my secondary commander slot...for those times when the space madness starts to take your vision and you need to hop in a Sidey and see how long you last against a Conda.

I would hope console support would mean better PC console controller support. I need the k+mb more now than I did at launch.
I have the essentials down. Sacrificed a few, keyboard a few and need the mouse in some menus as the controller can get stuck in there.
The xbox version will probably play better than a PC version with a Xbox controller, professionally calibrated and whatever.

Noticing a theme that MB can only reveal details about GPP. So lets speculate wildly about the released version ad nauseum...you know, just to make him feel at home

Anyway, I'm really hopeful for a cross-play with xbox...unfortunately most of my friends are console players who ask me to fix their disgustingly old compaq PCs when they can't load some 1080p 3D HD pornography. Regardless of their proclivities, I want more friends to play with cuz y'all are an anti-social bunch
