I , think all this xbone stuff will be good for ED and us pc players. I have been reading about how people are upset about xb getting something that we didn't get and are talking about that they feel betrayed and all. People, grow up! Your speculations won't alter the fact some of us (the ones in need of growing up, apparently) are upset about: xbox will get some time exclusive content before the pc and mac, based on no good reason at all. Platform exclusivity aside of course.

You like speculations it seems. Good, let me play that game with you. Here's a more more valid speculation about the future of the game if that sort of business goes on: the pc crowd, lesser in number by nature, will get behind in terms of business priority, which means priority alone, really. The game will then shape into something quite far from the initial premise. Speculations, you know...

Right now, all I'm interested about are facts. Fact: xbox will get content before PCs and Macs. The rest is just noise.

PC got the game before mac, and they both got it before xbox. Playstation misses out. Mouse vs controller vs joystick is not an even match. My graphics card has more ram than yours. Apparently the game looks awesome in Occulus Rift, but I can't afford one.

Why is this news a shock to anyone? They're launching the game to a new audience, on a new platform. Of course they're going to go all-out to sell it to that new market, and things like new features and exclusive content are a natural part of that.

Ultimately, making the game sell well on a new platform brings in revenue that will allow them to continue developing the game, and that will benefit all of us.

Since day one? You don't seem like a backer? Can't imagine a backer would ever demand this.

Tbh you sound like a perfect fit for the xbone crew. Leaderboards and the like. Like it or not this is a perfect fit for the xbone player.

And one more thing. They have the game, they have the severs, I cannot imagine this was particularly difficult to implement. They probably gave the job to the night cleaner. Alright maybe not but this won't have distracted too many devs from there initial purpose.

Finally, to all those saying that dev teams will be split for various platforms, cobra, the game engine used is multi platform. I imagine that once it all works there will be a single code base moving forward. At least I hope so. Please FD, clarify this at least. Seems to me that PC and Mac are now one. Given everyone getting the same bugs etc.

Reminder that timed exclusivity is always bad for consumers and always good for businesses. It's probably Microsoft's fault, but Frontier knew full well that while Xbox One players are busy beta testing (let's not kid ourselves, we know the quality of QA that passes for acceptable around here) new content, we are going to be delivering goods between the same stations, grinding the same RES, and scraping together merits as we always do.
