Explorers group selfie

Congrats to mjmw for being the nearest, but as Dognosh has suggested it would be good to have a group selfie about 100Ly from the bubble. If people could post here ideal time and a possible location then we can get it organised.
Dont worry about the yahoo crowd turning up as some of us will turn up armed.

I'm afraid I'm a bit too far away to join you guys, so feel free to paint a smiley face on a football and shove it out an airlock in my place :)

I'm meandering around the area between the bubble and Barnard's Loop, collecting "honks" for the Community Goal, so I'd be up for that if I'm online at the right time.
My timings are unpredictable, but mostly confined to UK evenings, so I'll just see if I can make it to whatever is decided.

Sounds entertaining!

I'm around the bubble at the moment and most evenings are good for me.

Happy flying

Can we make this a twice a year thing with a Galnet post? Like June (summer edition) and December (Winter edition)?
Also make the location vary between interesting exploration areas so that you don't get a ton of non-explorers turning up. Like make one edition the bubble nebula and one at Mintaka B or a red giant.

So many possibilities!! This could be awesome. I mean even if you made it Saggitarius A* for an edition the people with 2 hours a day can plan a week in advance to get there if its regular. Just got to make sure security from the crazies is up to it but I don't think they check the exploration sub-forum :p

Edit: Also yeah, im in the core. Either forget about me or give me a week to get back...

Have you remapped the boost button yet? ;)

Hmph. :(

So many people in one place all chatting, and the tab key so easy to press. If nothing else it'll be the most spectacular photo ever taken as everyone blows up :D

Of course - it would be hilarious if the group lead inadvertently hit the boost when trying to admonish people not to.

The Fuel Rats. Exploded in Irony. ;)

Okay.
To allow some peeps to get back I suggest Saturday 27 Jun 2015 at 21:00 hrs (UK time).

Any suggestions on where we meet? I suggest its about 100Ly from the beaten track, somewhere pretty, or not.

Time works for me. I'm not an expert on the amazing pictures within the planetary rings but that could be impressive. Sitting just above the ring itself with star/planet in the background.
