Give me ONE reason why I should buy XBONE version of E:D over a PC one

I can think of a few that might apply to people:

* Simply want to
* Want to be in the living room
* Want to use the big TV the Xbox might be attached to
* Want to play CQC before Xmas
* XB1 more powerful than your PC.
* Want to play with Xbox friends that don't have PCs

Now they wouldn't all apply to me, particularly as I don't have an Xbox, but it's quite easy to imagine these simple reasons people would switch, or play on both.

Now as to you, I don't know your circumstances, neither do FD, so I'm not sure I or anyone else can give you ONE reason why YOU should buy the XBox version. It seems quite obvious you don't want to. So it's fairly moot really.

I'm also pretty sure given the rude and demanding tone that you won't be getting a dev response any time soon. Unless of course you mention yaw and invoke the power of the Mighty Michael Evans. That's not gonna be the response you were after though!

^This. Or how about just wanting to play without having a weird black square in the center of my screen because some weird driver issue.

Yesterday I recieved this E-mail from our beloved Frontier team https://imgur.com/k682Cp0

I am asking devs or users for giving me ONE reason why I should buy Xbone version of E:D over a PC version ( let alone buying it second time)

I felt like Frontier devs think I complete idiot after recieving this e mail....

Because FD will send you lots of virtual hugs and kisses if you do.

There, one reason. Next time maybe ask for one GOOD reason. :)

Well, at least we know it wasn't you who sent the cookies....

Well My 8yo would probably find it much easier to get into the game on an Xbox than on pc for a start. The number of key binds are intimidating for youngsters. Also the sheer scope of the galaxy is similarly intimidating too. An arena game would work for him in that respect.

I noted in another thread it has not been decided if your CMDR will be the same as the one in Xbone and PC or if there will be two Character slots. IMO if you merge your XBone and PC account you absolutely must get a second slot. It would be criminal not to and a deep breach of the backer trust. Likewise i feel that there should be a second slot for an area character for PC players whatever happens.

I must admit i am tempted by the XBone and CQC, probably won't due to money constraints but would not say no to it.

There is no reason to do this. Do not buy a console, they are the offspring of pure evil and the bane of quality gaming since the release of the Atari 2600!

Anyone with a NVidia card should install NVidia experience. Not only will it notify you of updated drivers it will tune your games to best performance according to your card type as well.

One reason?

A graphics card alone for a PC can cost as much as a PS4 and Xbox One combined. A lot of people, particularly with mortgages and families to take care of, don't have that sort of cash to throw at recreational toys.

Hey don't diss the almighty 2600!! Still the best console ever :)

Pretty much the first 'proper' gaming console - not counting those pong-type tv games. I had a CBS ColecoVision console - just to be awkward :D

And there was a time between the demise of the 8-bit home computer and the rise of decent VGA graphics and affordable PCs where we had the Sega MegaDrive and Nintendo SNES - both of which were great.
