Excel integration

I'm waiting patiently for the API so I can start with my node-based web site that will run locally in the Steam overlay-integrated browser.

Might do one to start with anyway, even if I don't have an API, just as a manual log of sorts. I don't like alt-tabbing. Or rather, my computer doesn't like alt-tabbing.

Too bad I use Open Office. I would have loved to play around with that trade extension. :(

I did too. Get the free months trial of microsoft office and try it out. I ended up paying for a couple of extra months after that as I felt it was worth it when I was trading.

It's pretty sad that people are willing to pay for an office subscription for integrating trade data in to their game when it should be a basic game mechanic.

The other sad thing is that whilst FD removed market dump in beta and we're all standing around waiting for an api the people over at the cheats forum have managed to re-enable market dump.

1. Yes, I believe ED would be better served using an access database. 2. I agree, it does suck that we have to use outside sources to manage in-game data. 3. The TCE tool is AWESOME - Guy did some amazing work. Unfortunately last time I used it was on my gaming laptop. Since then I have upgraded to a new custom built desktop. So now I gotta go through that installation process again :| - On the bright side, I can still import my database over :)

At least Office is not always online so we can pirate it. :D
