Ok I've read a lot of threads that discuss how the new assassination missions with their majority "clean" targets make it more risky and fun and interesting and I actually agree, in general.
Except when it comes to this contradiction I am currently facing, making it basically impossible (or very long) to complete the mission:
The "clean" guy I need to kill is found in a system policed BY THE MISSION GIVERS.
So if I kill him, I get a 7 day bounty, and for 7 days I run a serious risk docking to hand in the mission. Oh and docking to take future missions.
Ok ok, that's my problem, I know. Now my today's goal of getting allied with Alioth Independents is forcibly cancelled. But, come on! I don't like this. Mainly because why would a faction give me a mission against someone they consider clean in the first place? Even if you say it's a job that's "off the books", at least the authorities should look the other way in that case, or the people at the top can "make the bounty go away *wink*" once I hand it in.
Does anyone else feel this way?
p.s. I think there's a POSSIBLE way to get round this. When you find this guy in a USS, and follow him, after 3-5 minutes he jumps. Unfortunately in my case, he jumped to a system I don't have a permit (Alioth - and wouldn't have helped anyway as Alioth Independents police that too...)
