Stored Ship Safety

I currently have 5 ships stored at a single station (My other 2, freebie ships, are stored elsewhere). I am either neutral or allied with all the major factions and aligned with none of the PP powers. Are my ships safe ? Is there any kind of political, economical, or natural disasters that could prevent me access to the ships ? And, if so, would I get some kind of warning before anything went wrong ?

As I currently understand it there is no means for PP to destroy/ close down or blockade a system/ station, at least not in solo. So your ships should be safe (DISCLAIMER!)

So if you're non PP aligned and on good terms with no bounty - I can't see why you should have any problems.

I'm pledged to an empire power but still have ships kept in a Fed system. When I go there it comes up 'HOSTILE' but the station or security forces don't take any aggressive action, even after scanning.
Interdictions do seem to happen more though so would be wary running a pirate bait unarmed T9 in/ out of a HOSTILE system!

Cool. Thank you, Sir . I didn't think I was putting myself in harms way of the ships but good to know. I was thinking more along the lines of the Station being destroyed by expanding local star or going bust economically.
