No missions available on B.Board when playing with myself on Xbox One

At the very start of a solo game on the Xbox One I access the Starport services and access the bulletin board at Trevithick Dock and there is a handful of 'Available Missions' and a couple of 'Available but unobtainable missions', I clearly discard the latter as they are unobtainable, however when I select one of the available missions I open it up and get the brief and then wen I click on [accept] I always get the following message...

FAILED TO COMMUNICATE WITH SERVER
----------------------------------------------
Failed to perform mission transaction.

Am I doing something wrong or is there no missions on the Xbox in solo mode yet?

I think I had a problem in the same kind

I tried to take a mission but in the description it was written for exemple "$##COMMODITYNAME" in I had to take an item somewhere
It was the same for like a system name "$##SYSTEMNAME" or something like that

I got into another station and it was OK there

Thnx, I will give that a try and update this post with the result.

I guess it's some bug with server communication, the same happens to me. Sometimes one or two are shown correctly and I can accept them but others are simply broken.

I just went to Yaping Enterprise and I was unable to accept jobs there either.
All the entries have something like $##DESTINATIONSTATIONSYSTEMNANE; which I assume is a variable that the server is meant to populate but failed to and thus why I am still getting the error.

Sadly the only thing that did look promising with mission data loading was a charity donation of nearly 10,000 credits to the Freedom Party of LHS 3447, but even that failed when I tried to accept.

You're not doing anything wrong, Frontier is.

The only advice I can offer is get used to the bugs. =(

I have this problem on the PC version. I think its server connection problems. I restarted the game and the commodity name bug stopped.

You mean rather than "playing with myself" I should "play with others"?
I will have to seek my wife's permission before I embark on that adventure.

And yes I meant 'BY' myself in the title.
