We need ALL available combat pilots to go to the Crime Sweeps in Pancienses

Why Karo instead of Hip 43197? Station of Hip 43197 is 723 Ls away instead of Karo's 2007 Ls and Hip 43197 has 1000 times the population (may have a PowerPlay effect introduced later)

Also good:
Hip 39470 (profit 115, medium station 19 Ls)
Kalana (profit 121, large station 18 Ls = if control system allows for fast further expansion)
Simyr (profit 121, large station 17 Ls = same as Kalana)

I think Karo is the best option I've seen for a second system up in the green zone between us and the federation. Its also behind where Torval is Prepping, so might be slightly safer.

I can't be 100% sure everyone saw the Karo or HIP 43197 thread as it dropped to the bottom quickly. Everyone upvoted the isolated Karo thread.

As for the other three, we all liked the look of them, but felt they were too far away until we get Pancienses fully under our control. That would allow us to send corruption reports from a closer control system than we could currently, I think.

I never looked at HIP 43197.
Karo seemed to get up voted, looking between them, HIP 43197 is better in every way.
They are right next to each other.

Make the change! I can't say I investigated either. They were both pitched by two different people who pitched other systems, so I don't think either is personal.

LHS 1852 is where I was going to head for first.
I'm going to drop off 100 there then head somewhere else.

Anyone else got a specific place they are heading to, so I, or anyone else doesn't go there st the start?

The Galaxy Powers screen doesn't seem to update live so its difficult to know where no one has been.

Fergal - you said you got your salary. I was rank 2 last week and managed to get the 1500 merits to be rank 4 this week. I was expecting to be given 5 million credits today. Have I misunderstood how that works? Do I only get that money if I remain at rank 4 this week? Or do I have to go somewhere to get the dosh?

OK, I've found the "claim salary" entry in the powerplay contact, but it was for the rank 2 value not the rank 4 value. Will I only get that next week? Will I have to stay at rank 4 to get it next week? Apologies if these are stupid questions - I did try to google for the answers first.

I've taken a quick look at ALD's expansion targets and they seem to tally, so let's hope that there are no changes.

You receive your salary at the end of the week in which you make the rank, so yes you'll obtain your 5 million next cycle.
