Okay, so details, yesterday I was playing the game, happy as could be, hunting in a combat zone, having a blast, when I got a bit greedy and got my stupid ass blown to hell. Alright, fair's fair, and I spawned in at a station quite close by, so I set course for the CZ again and went on my way. But when I get there I noticed something strange, all the ships spawned in, but none of them engaged each other none of them showed up on my scaners, and I couldn't target any of them. I go into my ships systems, and nope, that's all in order, I tried shooting one of them to see if it was actually spawned in and I damaged it and every ship in the area started trying to blow me away. So clearly something is wrong at this point and I head back to the station to sort out... only to find I cannot contact the station to request docking. I can target planets, stations, and signal sources in super cruise but not ships. When out of super cruise I can target from my system targeting menu but not anything on the map with me.
My guess is that nothing is being counted as part of my instance by the server, I can still target planets and stations because they're designed to be targetable from anywhere without the need of instancing.
I have already submitted a ticket with Frontier and tried a clean install. But I was wondering if anyone had any advice about what else I could try, as the game is unplayable as things stand now.
