Totally amusing moment just happend that lost me my ship

There I am flying around Diso in my Vulture - a bit bored - looking for NPC pirates. I get interdicted by a CMDR in a Clipper asking me if I had any cargo (?), to which point all hell breaks loose with my cat and a cup of hot tea and my keyboard. Jumping away from the tea, trying to grab something to mop the keyboard I look up to see CMDR in the Clipper ram me which takes out my shields. I fire back with while trying to mop tea - cat is freaking out - fire groups are all wrong so I can't even launch chaffs, and I blow up!

Cat has been sent the invoice for a new ship.

I have a kitten that thinks he's my co-pilot, he also likes to chase the mouse pointer around, unfortunately that means he's all over the keyboard.
i've fired him a number of times, yet he manages to stowaway afterwards.
I swear, what passes for competent co-pilot graduates these days...

what you shoulda done was grabbed the cat to mop up the tea... then put the cup on the ground and let the cat drink whatever is left lol... all the while spamming boost on the vulture :D, don't be concerned about the burnt dangly bits from the tea... they will grow back... eventually...

At least you did not grab the cats and try to use it as a mouse :D

im also in the cat co-pilots club.
in the early days my co-pilot was very excited and could not wait for us to get into combat, she kept jumping up and down on the control panels like if it would happen at any moment now.
but now day she is pretty seasoned, sometimes she likes to point out that there is a enemy pointing whit her pawn at the control screen, but after that she usually leans back in the seat again and let me do my job.

Cat's never make good co-pilots. Dogs are much better. He doesn't do much though, mostly just sits there waiting for a treat but I haven't lost a ship due to dog once.

I have two. Fortunately one is more a 'paws off' kinda guy. However, our lady cat is very much more a 'paws-on' kinda gal, and likes to sit front and centre of the -pit. That makes visuals and keyboard operations tricky,

This reminds me of a Billy Connolly story/joke of a situation in a hospital (at 42:15):

The cat faction will be our only defence against the evil SJA AI death squads. It's time for everyone to finally pick sides, for we are merely children and we have giants in our playground now.

here is a picture of my co-pilot when she is taking a break after a long cargo run
