Yeah, those NPC's have been buffed with "persistence.exe" and will now keep chasing you until you manage to break the interdiction, deal with them or reach your destination. Makes them more irritating yet more like players

Interdictions have gone up in solo.
As for me, in solo since that is what we are talking about, the most I ever got was 5 times in one system but I was also exploring at the time. Also they were not one right after the other quick succession. In the regard of quick succession that has happened only once, and only two times in a row. I also have been able to run and jump when necessary.

Yup... I got interdicted in my "no weapons type 9" brimming with palladium. A Diamonback interdicted me , and I had crappy thrusters so I failed the interdiction game...
I do have good shields though so I got away - but I was on a 3 jump trade mission - he got me again as I was hyperspacing. He somehow came with me and attacked me next to the destination star - We danced around a bit and I managed to get away with 80% hull (and heat at 180%), and jumped to my destination.
The little [insert rude word here] got me 3 more times on the way to the station, I was on 26% hull when I dropped out at my destination station. Then the [think of another rude word] attacked me while I was boosting to the docking slot. Thankfully station defences sorted him out.

I do have good shields though so I got away - but I was on a 3 jump trade mission - he got me again as I was hyperspacing. Get you combat ratings up and trade in peace , i do Dangerous and python ; hardly ever interdicted and when, its a moron in some inferior junk, that is gone fast.
Its no big deal : dont get greedy!

Yeah, real PITA. We should have supercruise depth charges, mines or rear facing weapons to deal with these pests.
It's definitely out of control. Now, I don't mind the interdictions in contested and hostile territory but the ones in controlled space, especially my faction's capitol system - different story. Last night FOUR Aisling Duvel ships including one CMDR immediately attacked me upon submitting to interdiction in Gateway (I chewed them up and spit them out)...I mean this would result in all out WAR!
Too true - I went back to my python for a while...
But now my T9 has turrets, chaff and shield boosters... lots of 'em. Oh and a couple of toprdoes.
Less jump range, but more piece of mind.

They will ill chase you into stations now lol. I had one firing at me until I got through the toaster, sold my cargo and bought more, came out and he was still there firing at me! Cops had stepped in by jeez! Talk about persistent!
hard to blow them away if not carrying guns. if carrying guns I can't hit anything anyway. so....run over and over.
Get turrets
Nope, they're self-targeting. But they aren't always the best shot.
