Thanks for the short fight, Jesse30. I was in an explorer-focused Asp. Still, I carried some guns, but a puny shield. I decided I'd better run since you tore my shields that quickly. Normally I would have stayed and fight to the end, but I had some 'investments' I was unwilling to lose. First time being interdicted by a player for me, despite the fact I've been playing almost exclusively in open. So it was great fun anyway, especially since I forgot I had a bounty on me. So a fair assault, cmdr.

I could be missing something here as the video is edited but it seems you are just pulling CMDRs out of SC and then opening up on them. I can't see any PP allegiance or Comms inviting PvP, in fact no actaul reason for your so called 'fun'.

Looks a lot like bullying/greifing to me! Could be wrong as I said in the first six words.

BtW the flying is very impressive.

Ahhh I scanned your ship before pulling you out of supercruise, and saw you had weapons.But it seems like i did pulled an explorer after all, sorry about that. Great fight for your first PvP BTW.

It's not griefing or bullying when I am the one flying the inferior ship. Those Cmdrs had bounty hunter load out which seems like fair game to me, and I didn't kill single one of those Cmdrs.

I run two fixed burst lasers on my Vulture, makes a mess for sure. But it feels a lot slower to kill things. It's probably not, just feels it.

I run a gimbal and a fixed on my vulture. Gimbals help deal with small fry, fixed when they are chaffing.

No worries, I was fair game. I didn't even try to avoid the interdiction. So I guess I was looking for trouble, be it unwittingly.
Wasn't my first PvP though, been doing some of that chaotic battle-zone fights vs other cmdr's. It was the first mano e mano though.

Interesting.
I don't think the class of ship can be used as a justification.
Having what you deem 'a bounty hunter' loadout seems a little flimsy too. However actually having a bounty is fair game.
Fair enough if you didn't destroy their ships (but the video is edited!)

It's not griefing, its a legitimate game mechanic.

Outlaw doesn't do reason, nor he is supposed to share reason with you, even if there is one. He is out there to create DANGER and be put down or scared off by bounty hunters, eventually. Don't like that? No problem: There is solo.

At least you can't control them with a mouse giving you sniper aim like in that "other" game, SC. They're way more balanced in Elite. In the other game, you either use a mouse... or you die.

Killing people is not bullying or griefing. It is murdering them. Get it right. And murdering is a perfectly, valid form of emergent gameplay. Try it sometime, it's fun!

I just love how they call it griefing, I am guessing every time an NPC pulls me out of supercruise in my cab i should complain about it.

I don't get the griefing comments, pretty much all of them could just FSD out of there when desired. Anyway, doesn't your loadout basically only work until someone decides to pop a chaff? Fixed MC is a PITA, don't see how that would really work out for you.
