Crazy System Authority Vessel

A little long, but crazy story :D Not sure if that's a bug or ... ?

Jumping to one system. Never been there before. Interdict almost right away - System Authority. Viper. Elite. Ok, he says, Crime Detected, starts to fire. I check right panel just to be sure - Neutral. As I said - never been to this system before. Eeeehhhh. Ok, I go to supercruise - I have a mission to find experimental chemicals in this system. Weak Signal, I jump down - start to pick those up. Suddenly, Cop drops down too and starts shooting. Ok, whatever, I close the Cargo Hatch and jump to super. There I find a origin system - I have one more mission there to kill 5 ships in CZ. I select that system and engage hyperdrive. While I do so that crazy cop starts to interdict me ONCE AGAIN. However, jump is charging and I jump to origin system. Thanks God, cop is somewhere there... Oh wait, interdict... It's HIM! Jumped_with_me_to_different_system. Oh man. We drop near the sun and I avoid the fight. Seems like he is finally gone. I fly in supercruise to CZ. Choose my side, and fight with some Dangerous Python. Fight is tough. Finally Python blows up. Someone is firing from behind, almost all shield down - I turn and it's SYSTEM AUTHORITY VESSEL, VIPER, ELITE. Lawless.

Oh my God! Never had such a pleasure in killing a cop. From a different system.

Crazy.

I had a cop try to interdict me when i was doing jump in another system. He came for the ride in a Anarchy system. :)

So i pulled him over and gave him hell.

Oh, that is awesome. Aside from the detecting non-existent crime, that's how police vipers are supposed to act. In the older games they were known for their tenaciousness. There's a quote in The Dark Wheel that puts it nicely, though I only recall something about a viper, its missile, and its shadow.

I had the same. Lawless SA ship.

Then today in a Neutral System, I get attacked by a Pirate, local cops show up and join the fight. They do the usual scan and tell me thanks for the help and be on my way.

Then I get interdicted, twice by some SA ship saying crime detcted.

Not sure what this is about. I did have a fine for illegal goods in that system, but it was paid off. If I was wanted, why was the system saying I was Neutral?

Wow, cops are getting tenacious. Great story. Though I am mostly clean. I would love to be interdicted by a "cop gone rogue" or as mentioned here. Being chased across the galaxy by a determined cop. To end up in an anarchy where you can "legally" blow him up :D
