I can buy a Dropship for 19.8 mill, I just don't know what I would do with one, but I still want it argh!

if you look around a bit you can get it at a discount for around 15Mil. Don't know why you would want one though...

I'm using one as an armed trader. For CG's and the like. I dropped an Asp for the Dropship. It has a unique personality.

It is slow, ugly and how often do you read about 'Dropships' winning the day here. You can read about 'how lucky they were to get away', but that is about it. They are just fat Federation targets, ripe for pirates to to blast apart and pick clean. What else can you spend 20mil on? A lot and a lots better.

You blow stuff up with it. Seriously, If you want one, don't let anybody talk you out of putting yourself in the symbol of Federation power and authority. But don't pay 19.8 million for it. Go to Daedalus station in Sol and buy it there, it is pretty well discounted.

Seeing yourself viciously engaging an Enemy in a Conflict zone - then flying through various exhaust trails and realizing you've been sliding 90deg sideways through that entire furball for a full 2 Minutes straight... is just EPIC :D

PS.
Be warned though - she's surprisingly tough and fun to fly once you get used to her (I love it Engine SFX!) - but she ain't cheap to upgrade. Far from that. But well worth it, once you master the unique handling.
IMHO one of the most underrated and underestimated combat Ships in the entire Game.
She ain't perfect - but she's got tons of character and always brought me home safely. Just try not to afterburn around with that Ship in an Asteroid belt... Just dont :D

Thats how I roll, lateral thrusters are my main thrusters, I now want to try this out.

I bought one at the discount and sold it straight away due to outfitting costs, so make sure you have a good amount of credits to spare, a low level Dropship isn't all that appealing.
