I don't give a monkey's about planetary landing right now, or walking around the ship. I could not care less.
I want the core of the game done, even Elite: Frontier was a more complete game than this. Could you transport passengers in Frontier? Yes... In dangerous? No... But this is not even half the problem...
The real problem is, for me at least, is the core game, the mission generation, the things to do the things that make the game a game.
Where are the group missions? Either exploring, trading, bounty hunting, smuggling.... not mention across multiple systems. Can you imagine for example getting a transportation mission for a 100 ton reactor to build a new station (so you need a big trading ship) some 150 light years away, but the mission say you will need 3 combat ships as escort as the company believe enemy corporation/government will try to intercept you... And I mean getting pitted against several large wings of elite/dangerous... Far more interesting and involving the transporting 7 tons of cargo to the system next door.
Exploring - IMO, needs to be made much harder, exploring is for care bears at the moment, but I digress... Imagine travelling 3000 light years to system exploring, bringing system data back to the universal cartographers, then a week later a mission appears on the bulletin board for a return to trip to a new discovered planet, as their are mysterious readings that need further analysis and 4 people are requested as it could be dangerous...
Were is this mission development... the missions you get from the bulletin board are about as basic as they can get...
Of course, they are developing this over time... But I think they should have spent more time developing the the back ground mission generator than Power Play, which is nothing more than a shallow bolt on to a far from complete game.
