Power Play: Monty or Condie?

I have been enjoying Power Play (yes I am the one) in my Python, doing combat and delivering stuff, its very useful as it can land at ouptosts.

However, I have a very ugly annoying mini me sitting on my shoulder telling me to buy the Ananconda. I cant afford both. I dont want to start a poll because as soon as I see them I drift off into a soporific state.

So guys and gals of the Pilots Federation are you using a Monty or Condie for Power Play?

Disclaimer: I realise this question is not all inclsuive to our sisters and brethren who fly in other ships. This post in no way is meant to be derogitory to your choice, however I have a very large bottom that only fits in a Python or Anaconda.

Regardless of Powerplay, keep the Python and wait a bit longer until you can afford an Anaconda. It's pretty expensive to fit for combat and I think you'll find the Python to be a more suitable all-rounder and a ship you'd want to keep in any case.

Since doing PP I haven't used my Python at all. Not sure why. Just feels like an Asp fits the bill much better - more than enough cargo space and long jump range for those jaunts to far flung places for undermining.

I'm sure the Anaconda is amazing when you've spent lots of credits on it but if it's going to be your only ship wait till you have enough credits to do that. I got a cheap spec one and it's underwhelming for anything except trading.

I had the Python, a great ship, i sold it recently yo buy the Anaconda, mainly for the extra cargo space, also it has more slots for other stuff. It is also a great exploration ship, Jump range not as good as the Asp, but when exploring i take out the cargo holds and fit loads of extra fuel tanks and a big scoop.
Realistically you need around 200m credits for the Anny, i bought this one from Li yong discount stations for just over 170m, (including fittings) but you still need insurance (approx 7m for me) and at least 5m spare for trading.

go for the dead parrot mate....i love annie....but she cant land at outposts,all depends on what time you can spare,and if your willing to change ships.

i had to do this when doing a bit of pp myself....i was in system doing a bit of fighting to take controlin my annie as it is a tough tough cookie to crack...but had to go to a small outpost to claim the merits or whatever the hell it was lol...so had to stop on route to pick up my"holy grail" so i could dock at the outpost.

Conda can do 41LY jumps. Cant remember what my Asp was capable off, defintely not as much as my Conda

Okay guys and gals, looks like i will keep my purple Python (Fnaar fnaar).

Oh...and this is my thread, peopel can type how they like, and assume any persona they like. There is only one judge, and he/she hasnt been on the forums lately.

@OP: I'd go for the Full Monty unless you have 3x10^(bagillion gazillion billion) credits and one...
I want the Anaconda so badly, but I can NEVER get there without trading.
