Is this real? Asling Duval has banned Slave Trading?

One of her 'Control Effects' was to banish slave-trading of all kinds .... but it was broken prior to recent update .... so yeah ... any system now under Aisling control is slave-free ... dunno if that counts for black-markets too

I find it rather odd she's only just now banned slave trading in her territory; her being against slavery has been in Galnet articles for a while now.

Oh the black markets in Aisling territory must be singing with joy!

I'll have 260 tons of Imperial Slave goodness coming in shortly for those who demand tradition be upheld or whatever. I just want my credits!

Join a real power and go back to slave trading.

How many slaves constitute a ton? 15? So 260 tons... somehow you have 3900 people in your cargo hold!

I'm pretty sure one of the few scraps of Powerplay flavour texts mentioned that she thinks slavery should be a thing of the past.

Stasis pod? For a quick 15 minute trip? Seems kind of odd. Unless they keep slaves in cold storage until they're ready for use? I guess that would make sense. I always kind of pictured them dismembering the slaves then using super advanced surgery to put them back together. Granted the parts might not always match nor be in the same place, but you could pack a lot of heads into a cargo hold.

Oh my, that's dark.

I get the sense that a person could be in storage for quite some time as a slave. Also, station security is much simpler when your transient slave population is in stasis. No uprisings from those who sleep.
