General / Off-Topic Please Don't Call it a Xbone

Actually all consoles are junk. It's not the machine. I have found zero console games worth the time to even waste batteries on. Computers will always rule over lame console hardware. OH except for my intellivision. lol 100 yrs ago

Perhaps if Microsoft came up with a better name so that the abbreviation doesn't come out as XBOne, we wouldn't have to? lol Get over it.

There is a large segment of the Xbox community that find this term derogatory.

I just call mine "Junk"

What is especially annoying is when Microsoft sends me emails saying "You haven't played your Xbox One for a while - please check out these awesome new games!" for the 360!!

cartoons of the prophet, same sex marriage whats next i hear you say....... some markings that when read in english make the word xbone....

“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so what." -steven fry

Also, please don't refer to Elite Dangerous as "ED". That abbreviation has other meanings that a large segment of the community find disturbing or difficult to explain. Instead, please use "EliDang".

Just because ED is generally used to mean something else, it's quite obvious what people mean when they use it in-game or on these forums. I don't think there's any harm to using ED instead of spelling it out.

I won't call it the Xbone anymores I swear.
