I prefer to think of Jorah as my 'roleplay centre' it gives me somewhere to start from. The last incarnation of Jeff Ryan had Michael Collins (interpreted by Liam Neeson) as /his/ 'roleplay centre' but he went off in a completely different direction.

Just made sense, 'storywise' you know you're never gonna hook up with a tier 1 NPC. So if you're going to love her, might as well love her from afar. Besides you need some justification for going from running slaves to backing anti-slavery.
