Grenade launcher pilots (vulture)

You know the guy,
high as a kite on his cheap as chips vulture. Keen to kick pvp . The early end game guy.

The ship: before it was released I liked the art for it. After release looking at the specs I realised it wasn't for me, it's a noob tube.

The pilot: every thread about any ship "you want to try that against an A speced vulture kid" paraphrasing obviously.

Anybody else find the vulture and its pilots just basically crap?

Flame me on you crazy diamonds

It filled a gap before but the emergence of the scout and courier have highlighted the inadequacies more. Previously the biggest threat from the cheaper ships was the viper but it took an experienced viper cmdr to take out a vulture. Now the 'military' viper (scout) and courier (fdl light) are making the vulture's inadequacies, especially as a pvp ship, more pronounced.
PS This is a more lucid reply than you deserved :p

It seems that I'm one of those fishy Vulture pilots - keen to take on the world yet a flying kipper with peashooters can take down my not so A rated ship.
And you should have seen that kipper!
Against NPCs barely a laser burn on the hull but my skills in PvP are severely lacking in every department. Perhaps it's my fluffy bunny attitude while in the Vulture or perhaps it's old age (I'm not that old but love to play that card with my daughter whenever she whips my backside in a FPS) but taking down CMDRs is something I only see happening if they're AFK. And even then I would need some extreme form of luck...
