Thank Frontier to mess everything about Archon !

Yeah ! We feel like real pirates now ! Even the Devs are messing our boots !

You gave us the most crappy module, totally useless ! TOTALLY !

Half of our mens have defected because of that and now that we are even less than before, you're launching a community goal against us ??!!

Do you even realize that it was already HELL in every Archon space before this CG ! 4 out 5 times I'm not able to reach Gabriel enterprise because Imperials are squatting SC, ready to blow my ship ! Imperials were already united against everyone else, and you gave them one more opportunity to destroy us !

Yeah, we feel like real pirates, hated by everybody, even the Devs, but it's a bit an immersion breaker, since we started as losers.

You hate pirates ? You hate Archon ? Why did you created him ? To disappoint every guy who pledge for him ?

It's the hard knock life (uh-huh) for us
It's the hard knock life, for us!!
Steada treated, we get tricked
Steada kisses, we get kicked
It's the hard knock life!!

I'm imagining this with Dr. Evil and Mini-Me, thanks for the laugh. :)

I would like to introduce you to Mahons Hair Dryer, the awesome Retribution Laser. Coiffeurs covet it, pirates fear it!

I've been meaning to make a compilation of ways in which Archon's been screwed over

  1. Awful starting position, naff systems and right by both Empire and Federation
  2. PP mechanics make undermining same faction worthless, so both Empire and Federation come to undermine us
  3. Power bonus meh at best, useless for non-criminals
  4. Power control effect accessible by non-pledgers, then nerfed twice
  5. Worst method of expansion (combat)
  6. Power Specific module worst in game both crappy and uninteresting
  7. Constant negative Galnet coverage
  8. Bounty hunting faction biggest in game, with pathological hatred for pirates
  9. Pirate earnings worst in game, leading to no incentive to join (as opposed to 20% bonus to trading or 100% bonus to BH)
  10. Constant 5th columning and undermining from within by 2+ large player organisation butthurt that they don't get their own power
  11. Gamebreaking bugs preventing expansion
  12. Constant capital camping

I could go on but I'll make myself sad

Please ! Your module is maybe crappy, but it has a purpose ! The don't ! I can't even imagine to put it on my Conda's rears without hurting myself because of its inaccuracy. And even if a laser reaches my prow, it has lost any chance to touch something.

We at Utopia share your pain. Both of us were dealt a harsh hand!

What's bad about the Cytoscrambler (sp)....? I've not used it, I'm just asking. When I saw the original list it sounded like possibly the most interesting weapon of all.

You're not in a good position, I owe you that, but you don't have a freaking Community Goal especially written to unite all the Empire for destroying you !!!

True, that does.....complicate things slightly ;)

Personally (not speaking as a Utopian diplomat) I hope your power survives this cycle, as otherwise the power pool will become a little more vanilla tasting. Hold on for one week!

we're still putting in great efforts and surviving!

We're surviving where other just expand without any opposition ! And get rewarded with a triple-shot railgun for that ! Or a class 3 Plasma fast-shooter ! Or Scalable +20% unbreakable shield !

That was written by an ALD player. You can submit your own articles.
We need someone to write something in archons favor.

Players news are supposed to be signed. Nope ?

A class 1 "burst" laser less accurate than a frag-cannon, doing less damage than a class 1 beam if farer than 100 meters. Power hungry. No damage to hull (this one was known...)

I read it the other day, highlight the text if you have a black background like me.

Thanks. Frontier wasn't supposed to put his CMDR name under it in the Galnet ???

1. Can't disagree with that, delaine is overall badly placed, a bit TOO close to the superpowers I think for an emergent pirate faction.
2. Yes and no, Empire and Feds don't tend to undermine each otehr but tehre's an awful lot of mutual undermining betweeen them, plus Sirius is getting a good brunt because they have Purut, a nice anarchy system ripe for merit farming without accrusing bounties.
3. Why would it be useful for non-criminals? You're a bunch of pirates o_O
4. Is that the black market income bonus? All powers have a bonus like that, Sirius' 15% discount on ALL ships adn modules makes assaulting their territory a tasty target because they'll sell you cheap guns to go out and shoot them with. :D
5. Agreed here, totally, 1 merit per kill in this conflict zone like expansion events really needs re-balancing I think.
6. Can't comment here, not used it but, I dunno, it looks interesting to me. Of course I can't really comment, sitting on probably one of the best faction bits of gear.
7. You're pirates... again, what do you expect? o_O
8. Not Frontier's fault that ALD attracted the msot followers, though this week they've got a hell of a lot more to deal with than you guys it seems.
9. Point take, has the 100t cargo drop increase helped any there? I assume not as black market profits have still been effectively nerfed I believe?
10. Again this isn;'t really Frontier's fault and you aren't the only power suffering from internal problems like this. ALD has the OIC, for example.
11. Zac impleis that some of these bugs are being looked at, have they been reported officially?
12. By other power players? Again I don't see how this is Frontier's fault...

I politely direct any FD employee reading this to all the posts who have been saying all along, item rewards for PP are a bad idea that will massively skew the outcomes of the PP turns entirely due to the actions of people who don't care at all about the powers they support, and all about the items they get in return.

I'm still with ADelaine. It is nice to have an excuse to murder indiscriminately.

However, I am thinking of changing to Aisling. Just because I know I'll want those shields at some point. Plus, that way, people will never see the murder coming... hmm.
