33%.... so a couple of quid less that you could buy it for a few days before launch?

to be fair FD have resisted price cuts far more than other games i have seen..... the only reason i would go into panic mode if suddenly it hit the £15 bracket. even then not anger, just worry for what it meant for the health of the game.... but anything around the £25 mark is still top dollar for a game 8 months after release./.

I paid £200 for this game, and I'm not going to complain if Frontier discount the game, it's their game, thier business model, and they get the profits from the sales, so if they decide a discount is necessary, then I have no complaints.

I want a second commander slot, and I want to support Frontier.

Though it should have been an option in the base game anyhow :/

I'm tempted by a 2nd Cmdr but how does it work? Do you have to have a different email address from the original Cmdr or can
you use the same one?

I'm out in the black exploring but some nights I'd like to be back in the bubble doing something else just for a change of pace.

What's the betting that if I did splash out on another Cmdr now update 1.4 will include an extra Cmdr slot

Quick question, if I want to buy a second copy to get a second CMDR do I have to use a seperate steam account/e-mail?

I've been kicking myself for not picking one up in the steam sale but this is even better. Time for Ironman Mode

I think I'll pull the trigger on this, for the same reason as above: Ironman mode would be awesome if it didn't mean losing everything I've done since pre-release. And later, maybe i can get the wife to join In.

Ok so I pulled the trigger on this but it doesn't appear to be working.

I put the new ED download/launcher on a different hard drive. It removed the original launcher so I don't have it on the desktop
anymore but didn't put a new one in its place. Starting it from the launcher on the different HD puts me into the 'old' game. Ho hum.

I appear to have two games linked to the same account, which means I only seem to have one game. Maybe a different email would've worked?

Unless someone can point me in the direction of an FAQ/How To Instructions I seem to be borked for the time being.

I'm not sure how it works as I haven't done it yet. However, my educated guess is as follows...

Purchase new license for ED under a new/different email address

Activate using that address

DO NOT reinstall the game or install it elsewhere

Just log in with new your new email address when you want to use the new CMDR slot...

Everything regarding your assets and progress are stored server side so there should be no need for multiple installations. Just log in with whatever email you want to use that day.

For example, I log in to my friend's installation of ED and just use my email to access my CMDR...I'm stuck with his controller bindings (which I secretly change...shhh) but all my stuff is there when I load up.
