Archon Delaine Commanders: SATURDAY COMBAT at 34 Pegasi

I will try to keep this as simple as possible.
We of Aisling Duval's '13th Legion' (affiliated with the Aisling Duval Facebook group) will be at 34 Pegasi at 11pm BST (10pm GMT) with as much force as we can muster (a minimum of 8 cmdrs but hopefully a lot more). We would be honoured if any Archon Delaine cmdr's (and friends) could be there to meet with us, and show us around your local attractions :D
We were trying to arrange something more definite with some of your leaders but given the short notice, we were unable to come to a definite plan for today, however, Aislings' 13th have decided to give you the opportunity to meet some of us in open at 34 Pegasi tonight, so grab some pizza, some coke and some beers, and come and meet us.
Our motivation behind this is as much to encourage more interest in pvp amongst players in PP as it has to do with any kind of Power Play grudges. We know that one side may be outnumbered by the other etc, (and we apologise in advance if we turn out to be few, or a walk-over), so all slurs and insults over local comms aside, we will not gloat over any victories (if any) achieved tonight - you are welcome to though :) . We have issued this first minor (short notice) challenge to Archon Delaine because we believe that you have many experienced pvp players: we admire and respect the flying skills of The Code, ROA, LMS and others.

LOL, minimum of 8 CMDS. I don't know if Delaine has that many guys left.

Hopefully some of the Code guys see this and can make it out to meet you.
10pm GMT is a bit early for me :(

Not sure how organized Delaine is, since I'm just beginning to join them. I'll try and be there, but probably won't be until a little later.

I can't really postphone it as such as I imagine the group will head out there anyway, but I'm interested to see how many people from my group actually turn up, as we want to start doing this sort of thing a lot more often (if I'm not broke from rebuys after tonight :) ), with far more wings involved. My actual PP preference is Archon Delaine (prefer Pirates and anarchy over Empires etc), however, my friends were with Aisling and I'm currently committed to getting as many of my group (Aisling Duval) involved in PVP and the 'open' world.

Had the same problem friend committed to aisling I tried but she stands for everything I'm against - banning slaves seriously? Couldn't live with it No she must burn.

Maybe you should try doing this with a bit more notice, and maybe in Group.
Might be a way to restrict any instancing issues with players not joining because of same.
Like a scrim, in like BF3, communication, see when is viable and make it happen but plan ahead to alleviate disappointment.
In essence, get organized?

Yes, agreed, I tried to arrange it in the heat of the moment one evening and it was far too rushed, although (I believe) 34 Pegasi is becoming a bit of a hub for player interaction. I for one will be turning up there as much as possible (in a wing of 2-4) to give players there something to shoot at :)

I woke up drunk at 1 am Sunday and jumped on in my Conda O doom!

We had a few good fights and then annoyingly we had so many Code in the instance, I think it kicked out any others players to another one because it went very quiet.

I think we probably had around 15 ships in system... *cough 32 in an instance bag of lies cough*

Instancing has ruined several of our groups pre-organized events as well. I wonder if FDEV has ever actually had 32 CMDRs in an instance during their testing.
