One slight problem with that, not everyone speaks the same language and what might be seen as inappropriate in one country (or language) might be considered perfected acceptable in another. For example, in Australia calling someone illegitimate child is nearly a term of endearment whereas in other countries it is still considered an insult.

I wonder if the name of the ship could be incorporated into the player ID tag, rather than as a graphic on the outside of the ship?
Less work to do and a lot easier to monitor/vet I would imagine.

I am inclined to trust Frontier's vision above votes cast by an arbitrary section of the community.

If anything I wish the community would dial down the pressure on the developers a little. There are plenty of ways to suggest ideas already.

Unfortunately thats not the point. As a PEGI 7 it is suitable for ages 7 and above, even younger may be playing it, and whilst they may not be offended, it would be the player that would get the warning of inappropriate language.

I think the age might end up going higher over time , at least I hope so.
when we can walk around and shoot other humans that might set the game age higher plus I do hope one day they add swear words like in the books

What Rodina does is the developer has 2 or 3 options for what he should do next in the game, and whatever is upvoted the most, is what he does.

Rodina's developers are a team of 7, with one single person doing most of the development work. They are hence much more flexible than FD, which isn't a really big team either, but still significantly larger. You can't do work in such a big team without longer term planning.

(In Ark for example you can call your tribe whatever you want - anything goes )

ARK also lets you throw poop, so it's not really a good example.
