I can't log in so I'm guessing the cycle has ended.
The support page still says servers are up though.
Is it updating correctly for everyone?
Lavigny-Duval is still showing last week's numbers for Overhead and Stats, and Preparation is allowing us to Prepare the two active Expansion systems. Our Control and Expansion tabs appear to be working fine. (Guathiti is already at 81% fortified.) Is anyone else experience problems like this?

We have already been undermined 9% in one system in the first 30 mins.
I'm guessing those undermining merits were form last cycle but only now handed in.
I'm seeing it now. That's some fun maths. So 739 is the actual exploited count, no Vaka or Nunus. Man, that sucks. Of course, even if I do think it's bugged, the only way to check it and file a report is to physically count all 739 systems.
Do you think the 739 includes all the systems around Vaka and Nunus?
From what I remember Nunus didn't have too many systems with it, maybe 2 or 3, the rest were overlapping with the other control systems down there.
Nunus had 6, Vaka, counting Contested, has 15 or so.
My presumption that the 739 included Vaka and Nunus came from me physically counting 69 (2 shared) systems on the 7 new systems during Cycle 5 when we had 672 exploited systems on the stats page.
I won't be able to count all 739 of those over the next week (I'm at 55 exploited), and without a change in Overhead, we will be in Turmoil by Week 9 if not Week 8. The goal is going to have to be manipulating Overhead specifically in the way we want to. And that will be tough.
I just commented on the stupidity of it all in another thread.
Mahon is also in turmoil bailout mode, but he has a different formula to ALD. It looks like they just make the overheads whatever they need to be to give the power positive cc.
He has 10 systems up for expansion right now, he will fly past ALDs number of exploited systems with ease at the end of this cycle.
Christ. Does that mean we won't even be able to plan our Turmoil to remove the chaff now? Cause that will ruin us.

What's the point of doing anything if they just bail them out if something happens?
Is this going to affect all the powers or just the ones FD likes? Can we please get the list of the protected powers so we don't waste time trying to undermine them.
See, currently the system is implemented in such a way that if you hit Turmoil and have nearly everything fortified, as Lavigny had at the start of Cycle 6, you will start a downward spiral of Turmoil that cannot lift for 3 weeks, at which point you will only have your Capital left.
Honestly, changing how Overhead is calculated probably won't help. It's Upkeep that has to become more dynamic, or the Turmoil cycle will continue to happen. They need to add another option to Fortification. A Power needs to be able to 'abandon' systems without requiring another Power to undermine them, thus making their Upkeep higher than a system whose Fortification is canceled.
Something like that is whats needed, but I can just see the 5th columnists nominating useful systems to be abandoned.
