Aisling ranking

I noticed Aisling dropped in rank this week. I'm wondering why this is. Anyone have any insight? I ask because I thought she wild be moving up and has one of the largest player bases. Maybe someone could tell me how the rank is decided as I'm not too sure how that is figured out.
Come on Aisling supporters, we can do better! For the Space Khaleesi!

Laziness and chaos.

No, that is a part of it, a major lack of organisation and control of who is doing what. We have a system that has been fortified over 1600% because it is close to HQ. 15 other systems could have been taken care of for the same effort and cost.

Hmmm sounds like someone (with more time and knowledge of pp than me) should take the reigns and make PP goals/action/strategy for aisling each week like the other powers do. I know we have a website but how many others know that?
Let's problem solve this.

The problem is reaching the players - most of the base do not visit reddit or these forums. I've met countless grinders in game who grind what shows up in the prep, expansion lists because they think THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. Meaning they'll grind a system that provides NEGATIVE CC because they think the game is telling them the best systems by default. There is no way to speak to these folks in game, other than 1 by 1; there should be a message board in game which only pledged members can see to communicate efforts - this should be a given.

You can't organize who you can't reach.

1st question, do the figures change day by day? The percentages etc on the power play map. I mean.

Okay I understand this problem now, I didn't realize how many people don't visit the forums. Let's go with a short term and long term plan. Long term will include lobbying to the devs to implement a communication board in game that only pledged members can see whenever they dock...or something like that. For short term let's look at how to organize those of us who do frequent the forums and reddit.
My Proposals:
Short term:
-Create leadership. We should discuss best way to have some sort of leaders to help guide us with what we are supposed to do. Either monthly elect representatives, or major Aisling Group leaders are in, or a couple people who cares just want to step up, work together, and let the rest of us know thru posts.
-encourage forum members to join the major, active Aisling groups (I know I need to do this still, but don't even know all my options)
-post what sold be focused on at least weekly in the forums.

Long Term:
Come up with an idea for the an in game communication tool for devs to implement.
Devs, implement something like this pls.

Alright everyone, discuss and contribute.
Would anyone being willing to step up to more of a leadership role here?

Lots of players just don't care about the organization. The whole system is flawed, unfortunately. I did start out trying to follow the targets that were put out on the Subreddit as best I could, but the PP experience is so flawed I've just dropped out entirely. If I do get involved again, a major goal will be to get as many merits as possible as fast as possible to check the box and get the unique module. It's the only tangible goal I can really see built into the system... even if your power controlled every system except the headquarters of the other powers, what would that do? Is there any character development done on the Powers to make them compelling? Why do they have absolutely no input on the direction their power moves? What do they even gain by taking over systems beyond the superficial changes to things like an increase in trade good value?

Very good very good. A couple of points. 1st; make the most of all the things you have at your disposal and although other assets etc are required, they should be a part of a longer term plan and not, a reason or excuse for a lack of progression! 2nd: The forums etc, lead me to understand that such web sites, such people and groups etc, are already about, to do all this planning etc. So where are they? Who are they? 3rd; Empire is by its very name and history a dictatorship. However: Anyone putting themselves up for leadership at this time, is asking to be sacrificed after the next cycle, when things do not go entirely to plan. 4th: is there an answer to my last question, or is it another one of those things that are not quite fixed yet? The question about the numbers etc on the power play maps?

5th: Stop being so negative about everything.
