True, but FD cannot stop things like combat logging as its impossible. They can only try to improve its detection and punish cheaters when they detect them.
I too would like the game to be more "simulation-like" and not so "arcade-ish" on some of its components, but many people are already complaining that some things in the game are too difficult, like npc combat, docking, undocking, etc... Guess a large part of Elite players are playing the game as a very casual game and in an extremely automated manner, and I fear FD are lining the game's future a bit more towards those players, and ditching the more "simulation" gameplay fans like me or you.
But I would also like other things to make the galaxy feel less empty, and more "alive" and populated.
More stations, more interiors, not just different colors, actually different interiors that require different ways to dock, more mission types, more profitable activities like salvaging, refuelling, distress calls etc, more interaction, more difference between empire / federation / alliance space, superpower and major faction capital systems who look the part, different "hostility states" between factions instead of the current "hostile everywhere else", battles that could be won or lost instead of endlless spawning, station docking that was more than just mere pit-stops, more sounds, a bunch of human voices on npc / station comms, large ships parked outside of stations, actually being able to see the faction leaders in transit or parked in stations in their huge, heavily escorted ships, etc etc. Things to see, things to do
