Possible to make the CMG (for FA OFF)?

People use this device in all real spacecrafts, in ED it will be a very useful device which we can use for stabilizing our attitude during FA OFF, just imagine a third mode: FA OFF+CMG:rolleyes:

A control momentum gyroscope (CMG) is an attitude control device generally used in spacecraft attitude control systems. A CMG consists of a spinning rotor and one or more motorized gimbals that tilt the rotor’s angular momentum. As the rotor tilts, the changing angular momentum causes a gyroscopic torque that rotates the spacecraft.

In all probability, something similar is already in use in ED spacecrafts.

In supercruise, notice the attitude thrusters do not produce any jets. How do they rotate?

now we can't stabilize our attitude during FA OFF without opposite trusters, with CMG it will be simple, we can do it by using GYRO
