Finally A-Rated Python

Hi CMRDS!

I'm normally not one to gloat about gaming achievements, but I want to gloat because today I finally finished converting my Python into a "Battle Tank Python Of Destruction, Chaos, And Occasional Shenanigans" (tm)

I'm still toying with the internals but I can pop a 6B and a 3B SCB at the same time. Weapons I'm loving right now. I kill all the NPCs fairly easy. I only use the Large Cannon on the big boy ships.

I've done a lot of Bounty Hunting already this week, so maybe for the next week I'll go back to my "Anaconda of I don't want none, unless you got Imperial Slaves, hun"(tm).

Congrats :) Can't see how you're dealing with your power management though, from my calculations even with non-essentials on priority 2 when deployed you're still 0.9% over.

That's if you are popping SCB's in 6+3 pairs? Unless you're putting all non-essentials on 3 and weapons on 2 allowing you to turn on and pop SCB but with the weapons powering down then turning SCB's off again each time.

I only use 1 6B and 1 3B at a time. Th other two are off. And so is the FSD/FSDI/Fuel Scoop/Cargo Hatch.

For some reason the Coriolis power % seem off. Because I noticed the same thing you did, but in game I can run all my weapons, KWS, the 2 SCBs,.

Ah cool, maybe there is an error in coirolis then :) Either way enjoy! Best ship in the game as far as I'm concerned. I sold my A-spec python to buy an Anaconda on Monday, and today I am now just 30 million away from buying the 7A power plant for the 2nd time and having it back exactly as it was before I sold it :p

I've never thought about armor really. Is thata PVP or PVE thing? Im a PVE guy but I hope to start PVPing soon.

The thing is, I realized in Combat Zones higher ranked Pythons, like deadly or elite are really 'hard to kill' when their shilds are down - damage to power plant is not as fast as for Pythons which are Expert, Competent, etc. Might be because of that armor.

Would say military grade is worth it for PVE, or better yet mirrored, especially as NPC's don't "currently" target modules, gives you a few extra moments if you're shields are down and you're on the run waiting for the FSD to charge and lasers have the longest damage reach. I don't actually like the Anaconda that much for fighting, also the cost for a battleconda is just silly money (and insurance for it) I actually only bought it for trading, to give me the flexibility in credits to kit out whichever ships I wanted, first stop was buying back my python and re-fitting it :)
