Maybe they just have stuff to do and don't have time to chit-chat.

But hey, if I run into you, I'd stick around. Always nice to see a friendly ship!

I used to find this a lot when I was recruiting too, but even I don't have the time at the moment.
Im power trading, saving for a rainy day and I smell a storm on the way.

I tought it was a bit funny..

Anyway, i did jumped on sight too one time when i saw a CMDR triangle on my radar..

Had a good day of mining, 20 tons of Platinum in my hold, i take no chances..

I like to start typing stuff like "yarrrgh" and "yo ho yo ho" I to the local chat when I see other ships. Really psychs people out haha. Sometimes I follow them around too. Never attack them, but you can tell they get spooked. Crazy guys in unshielded type 6s and 7s.

I'd jump too probably, between PK-er fear and not thinking to read COMM's befor I make my tactical retreat(HELLO, there's a reason I named her the USS RLH :p). :D

I assume the XB1 comms console is similar to the PC one, in which case a lot of people won't even see you calling them. If your concentrating on something else then an incoming message is easy to miss. Especially with all the NPC chatter that goes on.

Yep, there need's to be a "Message Recieved" notification for incoming CMDR messages.

I believe ther is one actually..

I heard it once, only with the headset. But there is a "blib" if you recieve a new message, its only very, very muted.. lol

I was thinking more like StarCraft's "*noise* Recieving incoming transmission." if you've never played the original StarCraft it's what the AI told you when a comm's sequence was about to start, in fact I believe the exact same notiffication would work great in Elite.

That would be nice indeed..

Features that might be added later.

My best guess is that Frontier is totally focussing on adding more content at the moment.

I can't say the same, Just got my Python and I feel like trying out some pirating, better watch out ;)

When I see another commander while bounty hunting I send a message asking if we are cool, then I send a wing invite. If I don't get an answer or have them join I will leave. I will share the money , I just don't want to fight someone else for it.

Well, perhaps they were introverts. ;)

Yeh! right!! we've all seen "Mars Attacks" ;) lol
Alien holding translator :"we come in peace!!" (Zapppp)

I just imagined a CMDR following another commanders around the galaxy like a stalker, that sounds funny, just finding a explorer and following him to Sag A* itself xD
