Help needed: Wing up with me to clean Altair from pirates Wings

Sure was fun last night but we were still standing at the end , Just so that you know the route will still be patrolled tonight as well, Make sure to bring us some good rares as well please.
Keep it friendly in the forums though please lads, Its just a game.

As you can see by reading this thread, I'm trying to keep it friendly as much as I can, even if some of your friends accused me of Combat Logging on Reddit, despite me explaining with a lot of details and evidences what happened two nights ago with my game crashing. I was even refunded for the ship loss...

BTW, I'm looking forward to meet you again next night but, please, if you meet me alone, do not attack me in six! :D
It would be funnier having a fair 1 vs 1 while the others watching the fight. Unless I bring a Wing with me: in that case we will have an awesome battle there...
And just to be clear again: WE DO NOT COMBAT LOG. NEVER.
Ok, we try to run if outnumbered, but if you manage to bring us down while running, we accept our fate.

To all the other CMDRs: meet me tonight at Feynman and we shall wing again, hoping to have better chance with the INSTANCING GOD... :D

Just announced that powerplay is coming out this afternoon now , Therefore we'll all be downloading it this evening . will catch up with you and your wallets early next week, have a nice weekend all.

Yes: the PowerPlay release will mess up everything in Altair... :D
I will take my time too for sure, to try it. See you soon then!

Well, I was mostly seeking help elsewhere if CMDR RiZ@L needed it. I did figure that some help was no longer needed in Altair. However, I figured mentioning it anyways just in case there was any new problems for him there. I have a decked out Fer De Lance and was seeking to aid those who need it; have not had any luck finding anyone in-game thus far.

I've spotted some of you this night ;)
There was a wing of Clipper + Cobra "honestly" pirating.
And if I see fair pirating, because I can understand if it's fai or not, I leave you alone...

If someone is interested, here what I do:

1) I keep an eye on the pirate behaviour.
2) I follow him interdicting some other player.
3) I wait
4) after a few minutes, the pirated ship appears again (he "paid"...), but not the pirate (he's scooping canisters...)
5) after a discreet amount of time pirate appears again, then goes on...
6) repeat

If pirated ship did not appear but only pirate ship very soon after:

1) Pirated ship was killed
2) Pirated ship high waked
3) pirated ship combat logged

In this case I ask the pirate what happened, and depending on his reply, I take action.

It's funny :)

Yes we were honestly pirating - for rp and give the game a challenge! Found a few customers too. Saw you too commander - my buddy and I wondered what you were doing sitting by the star!

2 points I always try to make to traders and will repeat;

Its a shame griefers have had such a bad influence on the game - everyone tries to run, even when they have no cargo!! - The trader may end up getting damage as we try to disable drives whilst the cargo scan runs. If your found with no cargo we immediately cease fire! BUT.... If you stopped in the first place, let us scan then there would be no firing at all!!! You would be free to leave!

Also - communicate; I don't ask for much. Normally 10%. Last night 2 traders stopped and immediately dropped their t6 load in panic ;). I let them scoop with us too!

Just think with SJAs deadly new AI, it'll make us honest pirates look like puddy cats. The NPCs will just kill you then ask for cargo... and there is no escape in solo!

That's why I'm hunting griefers, not fair pirates ;)
Yesterday night I took down one FdL that was cowardly taking down noob players in Eravate. Shame on him. And Death from my 3 Railguns.

I agree with rizal72 100% - reason for hunting griefers. This is my current purpose - to offer assistance/escort to those who are having troubles with griefers. I was stopping by Lawson Terminal to refuel a few nights ago and was just sitting there waiting for my docking clearance (all pads were full). A player in an Anaconda comes towards me and starts shotting at me without communicating (won't name him but he knows who he is). I had no cargo and performed no hostile actions - completely uncalled for. However, I digress and do understand everyone can play the game as they desire, of course - which is why when I finally have my A-spec Anaconda and two or three other wingman who have that ship, I will be back - and hell's coming with me (even if months down the road).

All you need is an Anaconda and 2-3 Vultures to form a wolfpack and to have some Anaconda griefer fun, maybe even less...

WOW awesome skills CMDR!
Recently I'm enjoying a Deadly Stealth Scout: 18% heat signature while cruising, No shields, mirrored armor, 2 MED RAILS and 2 small Torpedoes, 3 Heat sinks, 1 emergency Chaff, some Hull enhancers.
These noob's griefers are as noobs as the people they grief so, even with their full spec ANACONDA, but all gimballed, they will have very bad times against a small stealth fighter like my Stealth Scout is ;)
Rails for shields, 2 torpedoes from short distance for the PP: POOF!

I was in Altair all the time I was online over the weekend with the odd trip to Leesti. There was a quite a few people in Altair (I saw you Jordan on Majinvash's stream later after I had left). As usual though I was hunting a particular pirate who had interdicted me earlier in the day whilst I was in a scout, who ran when I removed the shields from his courtier.

It was a good laugh but I'm starting to think I need to be part of a group to do this sort of thing now because its quite common for people to be running in wings of four and not be that bothered what their targets are doing.

Thank you Sir, I am glad you liked it. I am really liking your set up a lot, and the whole stealth approach that's something a Marine would do, I am going to give it a go to see how well I could handle it. Thank you for the great idea
