I found this excellent example of the state of education and the intelligence level of our planet, on the first page of comments to that picture:

If the Earth is this large at 1 million miles away why was it so small in pictures from the Moon at 238,000 miles away? It was the size the Moon from Earth is and that is impossible.

Around the time Rosetta was coming close to its mission prime, there were loads of great comments and discussions going around.
Like the one claiming soundwaves DO travel through space, otherwise satellite radio wouldnt work…

I know most of these brainless comments come from people enjoying the art of trolling, but for everyone ambitious troll there is a stupid reader believing that crap.
I often dont know anymore is a person is just pulling my leg or a brainless tool without even the slightest common sense.

I fear how the world will be in a couple of decades when the world is to be run by ambitious trolls and brainless drones.
