fix the damn game we all paid for .
were not interested in the xbox version, we paid for the pc
we all pledeged monies from kick starter and elite backers it still feels like were beta testing while your working on the xbox
they wern't there at the begining like all of us so why are we still waiting for a working game ?
7 months after release and still patching basic things its microsoft syndrome all over again
bang it out let them find all the bugs.

stop faffing and fix our game.

role on no mans sky, we may then get a game that plays, or one of the many other that are in the works.

You can tell how important FD considers things by their location in the forum. Xbox stuff right under Discussions. Lore and Roleplay (Blaze your own trail!) right at the bottom.

i dont want a " chill pill " i just want what i commited cash for and what was promised by the devs
if the stock answer was take a chill pill relax wait awhile nothing would ever have been done .

I paid for this game. My game works. Some things don't work the way I would like them too, but they are not broken. Things were broken but FD appear to have fix those, at least for me.

You haven't said what it is you want fixed.

i got waaaaaaaaaaay more than i paid for
the game is awesome as it currently is

but it could be a lot better, and so many of the things mentioned in the kickstarter and DDFs have not been realised
plus, games like X-BTF, Eve, etc. have shown what can be done with this kind of game since the days of Frontier/ First Encounters
So, I'll keep talking about the things I want to see, but I'll still be playing as well

FD also have to ensure future revenue streams in order to continue developing the game and secure its long-term future. Porting to other platforms is one way of doing that.

Exactly this. They promised the Mac version and Xbox One versions within a given timeframe, and delivered solidly on both. As all three platforms are now pretty much identical, the cross-platform issues should be mostly resolved and it's now down to the "new bit" that's being announced in GamesCom(?), and the test phase for CQC. CQC could be a dubious add-on, but some tight combat with cover in the Elite universe could be stunning if well implemented, and it might effect a change within the game proper.

If FD are reinvesting the revenue from PC, Mac, Xbox One, Kickstarter (that money must be well gone now!), store sales etc. into future development, then everything they bring into the mix is valid. The Xbox One is one of the best additions to ED, not the worst.

i wont rise for the bait each to there own i suppose i feel that the game is lack lustre, for db to keep telling us the thargoids are coming is a bit crappy
i wanted the stand alone game that was " promised " i wanted the game the kickstarter was set up for, yes we have great graphics and sound the game is playable but its not what i signed on for so i'll be moving on to find something that does what it supposed to with the content thats advertised.
i wish you all well enjoy the game you have and hope the xbox gains millions of new players waiting for the game to have decent content.
for me elite is not about the constant grind it was a game to be enjoyed this game has to be endured... fin
so long and thanks for all the fish.......

Day one Kickstarter here and I have also bought the Xbox One version so not sure where I fall in your tantrum rant.

When you say "role on no mans sky" I think you mean "Roll on No Man's Sky" in five words four of them had minor bugs, fix your post!

No Man's Sky is going to dissapoint, even if it is good it will dissapoint, becasue as usual people have their own internal expectations.

Play the game you have in your hands, not the one that hasn't been released.

Well, if you took everything in that lot as a Day 1 promise then you must be very depressed. Perhaps you and others should be happy the game ever got released at all since that lot was never ever going to make it into Day 1.

A 'Promise' is very different to an 'aim' or 'objective'.

Some will come over time, others will never come, things never thought of or discussed in there have already arrived/are arriving.

It is what it is. The same backers that funded the game also shot the game in the foot by refusing external funding methods such as subscription or pay to play. Shouldn't be so surprised when FD have to keep chasing the new money rather than adding depth that doesn't directly generate new revenue.

No it isn't.

For one, you have the option to buy a passenger liner. Where are the passengers?
And where are the other ships?
And what about stuttering still happening occasionally.
And wings not always working as it should.
Add to that the many small graphical issues and other (luckily non game braking) glitches.
You want proof? Just take a look at the bug reporting section.
Oh and those failed community goals and other first-page major disasters because they refused to listen to the beta testers? That's all ok? Really??

OP is right and it is about time the devs concentrate on these things.

And no, I'm not a hater or QQ-er. I LOVE this game and playing it on a daily basis.
But it's about time they start wrapping things up and finish what they've started instead of coming up with new stuff (and new bugs) all the time.
