Hi,
I'm trying to get a dropship. I'm sure as heck sure it's not going to worth all this frustration though.
Anyway, I'm fighting for the Federation in all combat zones, i'm aligned with the federation President. My combat mastery is going up, i'm getting green lit federation stations but you know what? No progression with my federation rank. There's no percentage level like there is with your Elite levels, so I have no idea if what I am doing is pulling me up the food chain or if I'm wasting my time. I'm checking the boards, there's no navy missions appearing. But I am constantly taking jobs with Federation alligned groups. I'm not working with independant or empire aligned groups.
So I've been at this for weeks now. What exactly am I doing wrong, and why the heck can't ED make this stuff more transparent. Back in Frontier and First Encounters days you got a nice sensible "Federation Navy" missions list on the bulletin. I guess they can't make it as easy to work out as progression in trade, combat and exploration ranks. That would make my game far too enjoyable. Got to keep that damn frustration and desire to punch the dev's in the face going!
