Hour and a Half... waisted!

:) Classic! :)

Was actually referring to 'offence' - it gets a wavy red line. That's what happens when we English peeps spell in English! We get chastised by the American English spell checker so oft used on forums. It's kind of odd really (the use of American English spell checker on this forum) as FD is an English business. Who cares though?

My own spelling and punctuation are often poor at best and my grammar? She passed away some years ago. (It's an old, somewhat tasteless, joke - I know.)

Anywho, I did like the OP - 's fun to see forum users with a sense of humour.*

gotcha...

yea i thought the spell check was actually in your browser.

you know you can submit your dissertation in the UK spelling words like 'specialise', 'specialize', provided you spell all 'ise' words incorrectly throughout...

if you're gonna do it wrong, do it consistently wrong!

My... I did not know a part of the body which is suppose to be a noun can have a past tense.

I learn something new everyday :D
Think of some others and I am sure something will click, probably can't say it here.

But you could go ARMED into battle, and after you've SHOULDERED the load, TOED the line, FINGERED the bad guys, HANDED them over, EYEBALLED your rewards, NOSED first into the landing pad, HEADED into the hangar, FOOTED the bill for drinks, BACKED out of the place after a scuffle, RIBBED your buddy about his black eye, you'll think of something.

waisted
[ ˈwāstid ]

adjective

1. An imbalance of excessive caloric intake without balancing/sufficient physical activity resulting in increased girth to the midsection.

:p

Look at it as a newly defined adjective/gaming term.

He/she did not mention if he/she was snacking while playing.

And considering how things can go straight to certain body parts when consumed without physical activity balancing out the intake calories,,,,

Yup, after multi hour game sessions that involve drink and snack,,,,,,, I find myself getting "waisted". :D

Today I logged on and took my mining ship out to the rings of Jura 7. I put on some 80's playlist on spotify, I dont know why, but there were a lot of classic tunes from my childhood in there.

Anyway I went mining... during the trip the sun dipped around the edge of the planet, you know how it does, the asteroids were all backlit and silhouetted.

There was a real strange atmosphere as i chipped away, watching my limpets work and the money slowly stack up.

after an hour and a half i turned for home...

this was when it dawned on me...

Nothing had gone wrong...

everything had worked fine...

and I had quite enjoyed myself...

SORT IT OUT FD!!!!!..

this happens to me all the time in this game...

...................Im thinking of packing it in if im honest.
WAISTED is now the official ED Miner's slang for capping out your cargo hold by means of extraction and refining. Congrats OP, you are now an etymological legend.

Similar situation,
Undermined in ENNEAD.
went and got rank 3 with ALD faction.
Then flew to Cockraigne for some RES hunting.
3 hours later my Python was done, handed in bounties for $40 Mil
A total disgusting waste of my time, what was I thinking. :)

+1 Rep OP for the story and unintentional spelling error which has led to more humo(u)r ;)

Also, many more twists in the tale like this one will be narrowing that waist in no time!
