What is your "End Game"?

Well, I've reached the point where I have gotten my anaconda, kitted it out for trading, made approximately 65 million CR yesterday from it, then sat and wondered "What was the point?"

So I'm a trader, obviously. My whole fleet of ships is funded by trading (and about 30% RES). There is no real end game currently, and I like the idea of it. I don't want a defining point where you go "Okay I win, time to turn off the game and find a new one". And I'm sure we have all heard that Elite Dangerous is a Mile wide but an inch deep.

So this question is to all of the people that have completely capped out their ships. What do you do next? Do you smuggle? Do you explore? Etc.

What is YOUR end game?

Sure would be good if you could head of into uncharted space and found a new colony. Set up a station. Get involved in all the intricacies of managing it. SIM Station, kind of...

Dunno.
Ended up exploring for 3 months after getting my anaconda partially upgraded.
Reached Elite, got myself a few more ships, traded a little.
But now i'm just stuck unsure what to do next.
I want to go out exploring again, but what's the point? I've done the most before.

My endgame will come naturally when I will feel compelled to play the game every time lesser untill I will forget about it at all and start thinking about something else.
I don't fill like setting a checkered flag to this game because it would be absolutely unuseful and unattendable.

If I'm enjoying myself then I keep playing. If not then I stop.
This^ As long as i'm having fun playing ED, there is no end game for me.

And i can tell you. It's definitively not having biggest ship or triple elite rank. Those are hollow achievements in my eyes. It's all about having fun and enjoying yourself.

i do something fun right now: i trade every rare good there is. plucking pirates from sc in between, doing smuggling missions, exploring a lot inside the bubble. you go to strange places with that. obviously python is a better ship for that, cause it can land on outposts.

before that i took care of a group of systems. flipping systems. trading and missioning required mostly, and a dbs or vulture if finally war breaks out.

Fallout 4
Seriously though there is no 'endgame', you can mix it up and set imaginary goals for yourself but outside of credit/ship there is no meaningful progression
the game doesn't change much from hour one to hour 1000. I have reached a point where I play the game on a casual basis, I log in when the mood takes me but, sadly, those moments are getting fewer and further apart.
The only thing that really changes is the ship you fly so I would have to say, for me, Clipper/Vulture
So actually yeah, Fallout 4 :D

No end game for me.

I want to fully upgrade my beloved Dropship.
Buy an Orca, upgrade it.
Upgrade my stored Core Dynamics ships (Eagle and Vulture), then upgrade every ship I have stored somewhere.

Then maybe rank up to Admiral, and buy a Corvette.
Go exploring in it, become Elite in Combat and Exploration.

After that, I don't know yet :)

I'm waiting for planetary landings...I want to find an Earthlike planet thousands of lightyears away, establish a little camp/base on it, and survive out there as a nomad.

At this point im still waiting for the grand finale.

That would be:
1. More development of the core game (hopefully).
2. Going for a walk both inside and outside my ship.
3. Landing on a planet.

If those things are epic then il be very happy.

Il then spend the rest of my game chopping wood on some far away world :)

I've achieved my first long term goal, achieve Elite in a discipline. I never got to Elite with the original game or FE2.

My next target is another Elite, then finally Triple Elite.

Once I've hit that waypoint, I'll take stock of where the game is going and if there's anywhere to go that I haven't been yet.
