Aisling Duval now has a Galactic Standing of #1

Serious question. What does "+25% influence change" in a controlled/exploited system actually means?

Hard to quantify, given how shrouded in mystery all the influence and reputation stuff is, but my understanding is:

If you complete a mission to, say, transport some food in, that will earn a given amount of influence for the minor faction you complete it for. Let's call it 100 influence for simplicity. With that bonus, they'd earn 125 influence.

As a result, that faction will find it easier to become the controlling faction in the system.

That is, assuming you're not just taking missions from every minor faction in the system, in which case it'll pretty much even out.

Aisling will grow old, realize the error of her ways and forget about those absurd ideas against slavery.

I'm sure she'll become the next Torval one day. Just like Anakin became Vader.

Not surprising since everyone else found out that their modules were crap and that the shield is the best one by far.....

Well i waited a week or 2 before I pledged just to make sure the modules were actually a thing and not just here say. other then a module I cant think of any reason to even bother pledging. Not to mention the way the power specific modules are balanced they are pretty much useless. A prismatic is pretty much useless except on trade ships and ships like the Anaconda with an A class plant where power would never be an issue. I only use a prismatic on my conda since running a 4a with 8 shield boosters has over double the shield power of the best shield gen available for the conda.

I am however hoping a Prismatic will be awesome on a Federal corvette when it is released since that ship shouldn't have power issues. though FD will likely nerf the shields or the corvette to Prevent all the noobs who cant afford it from crying like they always do

Do the shields come in size 7?

EDIT: Answer - yes

Eventualy all popular powers will crash and burn with negative capital, due to the relentless fastest-route merit-grinders ending up unwillingly sabotaging them from within.
