From a customer perpesctive, this is not the kind of post that helps...
Please do not say you are "actively" doing anything unless you are at least willing to add some sort of qualification. The post reads like that of a door to door double glazing salesman.
Perhaps it may help if you could confirm or deny many of the issues and worries that have been levied.
Is SJA still on the elite team?
Why can she no longer talk to customers?
When will the long awaited AI update actually happen? 1.4 / 1.5 will we have to pay extra for her fine work as some sort of DLC?
Is her reassignment due to political* or business issues?
why is it that anyone who seems to have anything of any substance to say is gagged or removed? Is this standard FD policy?
Is this connected to the Drew issue?
For the most part, just a few honest answers would win back some support from the player base, as so far it seems that FD have NO idea how to deal with customers.
Why hey are the 3 community managers (whatever they call them) and they barely interact with the community?

This may sound odd, though I am sure that ED customers can understand that no single dev is allowed to be more popular than certain members of management.
Like so many on these forums you used the headline title of the updates to make an argument. So easy to forget that those patches contained major improvements to AI and indeed features that were in the DDF not to mention numerous small updates in between. Wings were planned in the DDF as were mining drones. The community frequently requested external views which were added. But it's easier to ignore the facts and bend the argument to bang the same old complaints drum right? The biggest criticism the game had on release was that it lacked content, so Frontier have added content along with fixes. I fail to see how this is evidence of mismanagement. The basic fact is they got a product out on minimal funding in a genre that frequently attracts these sorts of complaints. They didn't miss deadlines and made no excuses, they also made agood return on a product that did well enough on its own merits to allow them to continue as planned.
I personally see no evidence of mismanagement, just opinion.

This thread shows how little some of you care about the actual game or the actual person that is SJA. You're just looking for your next fix of internet drama. If you really cared about SJA, then you would not have posted tweets of her that she had deleted. And you would have realised that this thread could cause a huge backlash for her in the company. YOU are responsible for putting the muzzle on her, not FD. SJA will think twice about what she says in the future, and maybe she won't say anything at all from now on.

Yes, this me here is also a thing about emotions, I never pretended otherwise. But I even stated in my first post in this thread, that for me the much bigger issue is what this all of this means for SJA, than for our getting the AI update later or not at all. If 2 months of work into which she poured her heart and many extra hours are suddenly scrapped, or even just butchered into but a shadow of what she had already achieved there - imagine how it would feel to be in her place.

yes there should only be love peace and harmony in this forum! never critize anything, all is good, game is in perfect shape, no problems anywere.
fdev pr and comunity management is the best on earth! in the universe! never saw anything better then this.

A software company needed to re-allocate it's resources (devs) to get something else done that had a higher priority on it's confidential roadmap - and some public forum with no knowledge of that roadmap explodes because it thinks it "owns" a particularly communicative and friendly dev who was doing something that they personally wanted ASAP?

I can answer that. I've done projects where I've poured 1 month, 2 months, 6 months - hell even a year into a project only for that work to be replaced, re-prioritised, "butchered", handed to someone else - or for the money to just run out.
Know what I do? I don't go on social media and make an out-of-context emotional plea, or blast at my employer for taking away something I've worked so hard on.
I take on the next challenge handed to me, or I find another job.
And I've been at the lowest point a developer can be - 9 months of my life was working 16 hour days on a pro-rata salary of £35k + equity, no overtime trying to build a startup product for other people. Very little support, working with new technology - nearly broke up my relationship (at the time) and pushed me into burnout and depression.
The best lesson learned was not to get to emotionally attached to your code.

It would be a good idea to focus on what the problems are with the product (feedback) rather than making speculative arguments on theoretical issues based around vague twitter posts. No?
