Plans for the weekend? Tell us EVERYTHING!

I'm off to Tramlines in Sheffield Saturday but tonight is Elite time! I'm thinking of taking my courier up to the bounty CG, racking up a a nice big bounty and trying my hand at some pvp.

Thanks Commander! I saw SM's review and will most likely get it. I guess $60 is not bad to drop on what looks like a very promising game. I am looking for more sim so this may be it. Will be getting no mans sky for the pew pew.

You can get access just to the early access build (and not the game) for $10.
If you decide you like it you can upgrade to higher tier and just pay the difference.

Next tier up is $30 for the core game.
$60 is the core game and all expansions.

Sweet deal; that's like a sammige and a drink. Might pick that up as well. I was intrigued by the stuff I've heard about it so far.

Remind me (and maybe every other gamer) to put that expense under "Thrown Away Monies" and not "Hopefully This One Turns Out" or "The Next Coming Of Jeebus" though. Saves on mental hassles later in case anything untoward occurs.

I know what you mean. I would say that Michael Juliano is making all the right noises.
He's made these promises for example

1. I will do my level best to deliver monthly updates on the 15th of each month throughout early access, and that these updates will demonstrate as much progress as I'm humanly capable of delivering without killing myself
2. I will do my level best to let you know the goals for each update; and if those goals have to/need to change, I will let you know, and let you know why.
3. If for some reason an update can't make the planned date, I will let you know, and why.
4. If something planned does not make it into an update, I will let you know, and why.
5. If someone asks a question, I will make a best effort to answer it as long as it doesn't give away information that I would consider a trade secret.
6. I will respond as openly, honestly, and directly as possible as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights to others' privacy.

It's my hope that I've already demonstrated my intention to deliver on these promises. I've made it clear what RogSys is to be; what its goals are; the idea that based on available resources some features may slip from the INITIAL Core Module release; and that I won't add features that aren't critical to the Core Module simply for the sake of gaining another backer (or to make it more mainstream). I've let you know the hiccups involved with a couple items for the first update. I've listened to community feedback and I think I'm responding accordingly (the ongoing refinements to head-tracking, just as one example). In short, it's my hope that I instill in you the confidence that your decision to support RogSys was a good one, and that I am working HARD to make it a reality. In other words, I'm TRYING to do this right

I find it quite refreshing really. He treats his customers like real human beings.

Well not to beat a dead horse but.... I used to spend my time playing the game thinking ''oh I cant wait for the combat AI'' but now I just think "Oh I hope they rush out of the door what ever they are working on so we can get the AI working''

Playing for the first time since sunday (god, what a week...) I'll absolutely have to tend to my Powerplay duties. First I claim my 5mill paycheck as a level 4 Winters Wolf, then I'll earn back my decay by undermining some slaving tyrant's territory. Probably going to wing up with my buddies for that... But first I'll need to buy a new combat ship after selling everything and buying a T7 last week to ship more federal aid to the outer rim. Probably going to be a Diamondback Scout, love that little beauty. Great combination of price, performance and (especially interior) design.

Then I'll switch back to the T7, check which systems need fortification and do that until I can't be bothered anymore.

And when all is said and done it's off to two weeks of vacation, already looking forward to climbing back to level 4 after being struck by the decay...

I'll be exploring the galaxy in my Asp (named 'Relentless Argus'). Who knows what I'll find? Hopefully also growing closer to the rank of Elite in Exploration.

Wet BBQ tonight, I love the English weather! Will be driving down the A14 in a couple of hours, virtual waves to FD as I go past :)

In Space I will mostly be playing with my new Clipper (The Serf'ers ship!).

As my wife and children are going away for a week, leaving me at home to look after the pets;

I'll be enjoying the sound of silence :D

Welcome CMDR's,

It's that time of the week again when we all get to spend some time in space doing 'stuff' but what 'stuff' will you be doing?

Tell us everything!

I'll be taking the Ahhotep on a little exploration trip to see at least one of the nebula's, not sure which one yet but I will take some pictures when i get there :)

Lurking in the forums and playing other games that are games and not glorified tech demos.

I'm fighting the urge to buy a lot (and I mean an awful lot) of beer, get drunk and run around the house naked for 6 days.....
Then clean like a mad man on the 7th day :D

Ha Ha! I wonder if that crossed Gods mind. "And on the 7th Day God created Vax"

Have a good one (and everybody else) , I'm outa here till tomorrow (UK timezone).
