What's your favourite system?

I just had this thought while on transit to Groombridge 34 B, it is the second star in a binary called GroomBridge 34. This is currently my favourite system in the game, and I was wondering: since I hadn't really explored the galaxy much, what are other people's favourite systems? Post a reply what is your best! I personally like Groombridge 34 because of the abundance of planets with unique compositions and the nicely named, "New America". Also that Groombridge 34 B is a red dwarf, and how close New America is to the star because of how cold it is, meaning New America has life, or has at least been terraformed. I look forward to your replys! :D

Not sure yet, there's some interesting military systems. I quite like the Permit Systems to keep player numbers down. I'm currently based out of Lembava for the 15% ships and outfitting discounts from Li Yong-Rui PP faction territory.

For the future I'm looking for a system with a full station that has at least 2 RES sites. It also needs to be within 20LY of a good High-Tech system but as far away from Powerplay factions as possible and ideally independent but not anarchy.
Yeah... Let me know if you find my Holy Grail :p

Or do you mean systems in general because mine would be Dumboi XP-X E1-7577 at co-ordinates -6,150:99:22,450 since its a neutron star nebula with my first discovered tags on :D

I really liked Obambivas with its 2 Earth Likes but I moved on light years ago ;)

I forget the name of it, but on the absolute edge of civilized space there is a system run by religious fanatics. The system authority gives out blessings and fighting with faction members opens up a torrent of psychotic religious zealotry over the comms channel. So far as I know it is completely unique in the galaxy, and being right at the edge of the frontier lends it an even more disturbing vibe. It has a life and character to it that the rest of the game utterly lacks. If FD had made more places unique like that the game would feel so much better.

Mine is where I found my first hitherto undiscovered Earth-like. As I have not registered the find yet I'll decline to give the name.

6,000LY to find that, and others get three an hour. Clearly I'm in the badlands.

Mine is Whamboi AA-A h42. It has two very large class B stars, one 295 solar radius and the other 413 solar radius, fairly close together, and my first discovery tags :) check it out if you are in the neighbourhood

I kinda migrate on the border between Delaine and federation space... Assassinating feds, rearming the frag cannons with delaine. Works well in my current system because it's a little spaced from others, so missions stack up for the one nearby fed system.
.
System starts with an M. forget the name.

You're looking for LTT 15278.

my home system, which I won't mention as it's still nice & quiet, with good trade routes and every kind of system economy within a single 10ly jump.

also:

3 Epsilon Trianguli, where I found & tagged my first Earth-like
Maia - destination of my first exploration trip & black hole
Peregerina - first place I headed to, early on in the game to get a permit

In answer to your thread title OP: the system I prefer for gaming is PC, my second is for work, which is an old Macbook Pro. I have an XBox 360, but that's now used as a doorstop. Hope this helps. ;)

Groombridge 34 has been one my home bases for a while now (jones estate, 9ls from the main star). Reddot is a cool anarchy system, it has a massive starport incredibly close to a huge gas giant called Motherlode.

Waay too many amazing uninhabited systems to list.. For a nice combination of awesome scenery and good tech, see below -

I CARINAE 5 - Ringed terraformed in orbit around a gas giant (sommerset station)

THANATOS (The Land) Largest known terraformed in inhabited space

IOTA HYDRI -EMPIRE (ringed terraformed)

BALTAH SINE

BD+22 3579

Ross 860

DIMOCO

LALANDE 37120

VALTA - 11LS from main star

ACHELOUS - RINGED terraformed

PALAEMON

HR7451

SAMEQUIT

I quite like Altair, it stocks a fair amount of tech and doesn't see a large amount of empire elitists. Plus, it's right next to Bhritzameno (or whatever it is), which has a nice RES, and all of them regularly spurt out bounty hunting and assassination missions.
