Shopping is as miserable as in real life...

I love working towards a new ship, upgrading or trying a different set up. I love tinkering with it on ED shipyard and then trading/ exploring/ shooting my way to raise the cash.

However the excitement is soon killed off after roaming numerous systems to find the parts.

After touring more than a dozen high population high tech/ industrial systems I've given up and switched it off.

Get Elite then just use the founders world.
It saves so much time / hassle.

I can order everything online and have it sent to me.

You do realise that you need to be Friendly / Allied to get the better items in a station?...

I dunno. I must be doing something wrong. The high tech system I've parked at has only failed to produce an A-spec module on demand once. It also has most of the ships. I should find a crappier neighbourhood.

It is frustrating. I would try just Googling: where buy XXX Elite Dangerous. There's probably an answer on this forum somewhere, or on Reddit. Some commanders keep really detailed logs, and are often very helpful.

(make sure you include Dangerous / Frontier in your search query, as there are a lot of products with the word 'elite' attached. And, yes, you can search this forum, but Google as you know often does a better job. Good luck.)
