All you need to know is the empire is invading the federation, come and defend your traders or let it be known the federation abandons their people

The Empire, the major faction, is doing no such thing.

You however, a small time clown group who's associated themselves with the Empire (major difference) is travelling to another system to try and cause trouble.

You're also officially announcing ... LOL .. Well, an official announcement would be along the lines of "The Knights of Nee officially declare ..." whereas what you're saying is "excuse me sir .. but .. *squeak* we're doing something here please look" Either stand up and be counted like men and be proud of who you fly with, or crawl back into the darkness from whence you came.

Regardless you're nothing to me .. thanks for the laugh though.

I get that you don't need details but at least declare war before complaining about the lack of resistance. It's like me saying I attacked Sol yesterday and no one stopped me. If I declared war openly on Sol today and went tomorrow then it may be different.

I'm not aligned myself, I find the Federation too restrictive. Was previously Empire but it suffered from the "Knights who say Ni" effect with everyone and their cat declaring we should "hail" or "bask".
Feel free to keep killing. I just found it odd that you expected resistance when no one knew about it.

Radar Man 1 : Fairly sure sir .. I can't resolve them though as they're too far out.

Commander : Nope, some rumblings from a couple of small time locals, but we get them all the time. All mouth and gums. I mean look at this .. there's no name on it or nothing. Now how are we supposed to take them seriously ? They're probably not happy about something unimportant but other than that one I don't see anything official. Maybe we should contact one of the bigger groups to see if they know something ?

Finally a fleet turned up, gave us a good fight

They brought in an anaconda, 3 python , at least 2 clippers and a FDL, too much for out fleet of 3 (there were 7 when we started but others left due to no one showing up, wish they had stayed) to fight but we gave them a good fight and held them off for around 20 mins over a number of battles besides most of us had to go anyway

Hello, after I announced this a LARGE force from Duval came to attack the other empire forces, I have information that a few Feds showed up to defend it....after all my forces had left
